I got these awhile back when I was doing a serious re-wire of the house for networking. It also coincided with the movement of our office from a bedroom to the dinning rom that we never used as a dining room after the first year of owning our house. It has pocket doors and can be easily closed off from the rest of the house. As part of all the different pieces and parts ordered for the network re-wiring, I decided to get these and the associated tool. They worked great on the re-wiring. Recently I ordered a new AP to put in on the far end of the house, as the Xfinity wife has been slowly degrading over time. I had to put in new connections and struggled with them. The old connectors were multi-piece RJ-45s and were not all that easy to work with. After struggling with making ends up that worked, I went to the basement where these were sitting and grabbed them up along with their specific tool. In not time I had a end made up and went an d made up the other end. Tested the ends and got fully functional ends. I made up a few more cables and they were done so quickly and easily that I tossed good multi-piece connectors in the trash. I'm the kind of person that hates throwing away good materials. These pass through plugs made me not even question tossing out decent connectors. These are that easy to use and that good, these are the only connectors I will buy in the future. If I come across any other connectors, if they are unopened, I'll give them to goodwill, salvation army, or habitat rehab folks, as some one will have a use for them, certainly not me though. If you get these get the tool that they suggest as it clips off the pushed through cables nice and clean! Worth the money!

These pass-through RJ45 connectors make terminations quick and accurate. The wires slide through easily, you can verify the color order before crimping, and every connection I’ve made has tested out perfectly. The gold-plated contacts grab cleanly, and the plastic feels sturdier than the cheap ends you get in bulk kits. Important note: these are not fun to use with a standard crimper. You really need a proper pass-through crimper to cut the wire ends flush and seat everything correctly. With the right tool, they’re fantastic. Without it, they’re a headache. With the right setup, though, these are some of the easiest and most reliable connectors I’ve used. Would absolutely buy again.

They seem to work well. Easy to crimp and to hold up well. I've had all of them work. I normally don't bother with feedthrough kinds, but these were cheaper than the normal ones I would get. I am taking a star off because I had to trim a bit of plastic off of the tip to get them to connect to some Ubiquiti surge supressors. They wouldn't seat all of the way in. It was easy to correct, though. Just take a little off the tip near where the wires feed through with your snippers. Other connectors and cables have worked fine without modification. These work with everything else that I have tried so far.

For me there are a few things I noticed about these net ends. First, I can see the wire colors very clearly through the plastic making my double check of wire order easier. As I am inserting the wires there is a solid smooth feel, giving me the confidence that my wires are going to stay put. And crimping them is a breeze, knowing that the wires are solid providing me with a solid network connection. Great value for the money as well.

Absolutely work as advertised and since there are so many in the bag I didn’t worry when I mistakenly pinched down wires in the wrong order. ;-) I paired these with the Klein tools crimper and a very satisfied with the product.

all connections are still working fine after years of service

tested with 50 ft custom cable, on a 1Gbit connection, no errors. Used a trio of RB750Gr3's to do bandwidth and loss testing, 0 pkt loss. needs a somewhat specialized crimper, but a standard crimper and angle cutter will do in a pinch. no broken connectors, seem to be able to handle rough and tumble installations. can't complain for the price. Great for those of us who do a few cables here and there and want to ensure proper EIA cabling technique.

Very quick and easy to use, and I’ve made about 8 Ethernet cables so fare and everyone worked fine so very happy with them
