A Common Sense review...
There are a TON of halters, harnesses, and what have you that all claim "guarantee no pull" however what people need to realize is they are only a tool and that the only way to guarantee "no pull" is to work with your animals, there will never be an instant no pull product because all dogs aren't created equal (thank god!). Now that being said I have 4 dogs, 2 doxies and my 2 mixes (both rescues), JW is a 3 y/o Catahoula/Bull Terrier who weighs 67 lbs and Cooper is a 3 1/2 y/o Amstaff/Boxer mix who weighs 60 lbs, needless to say walking the 2 big dogs can be exhausting and painful to my lower back and knees. Having worked at my local Humane society I was introduced to the easy walk harness, which was ok for a few walks but JW still ended up dragging me around. Next I moved to the Weiss walkie no pull, and that was ok for the first 2 walks and everything after that was JW dragging me while at the same time choking himself, and so that brings me to the YUP pet halter. I wanted to get a few walks under our belt before posting a review, the halter arrived on Nov 29th and it is now Dec 14th so we are on 2 weeks worth of daily walks. When I first inspected the halter I was a bit skeptical as I wasn't sure the parts that go under his legs would hold up to JW's pulling, but it was easy to put on and adjust so off we went. From the first walk to today this halter has really impressed me, no raw areas under his legs thanks to the sheep skin type material, and no choking himself out while we are walking. What I also like compared to the Weiss walkie is that there isn't anything attached to his collar, so "if" he was to break away his collar with his info would still be on him. Now back to the common sense.. does he ever pull with this? Yes he sure as heck tries (he is a Bull after all), especially when we are approaching a home where he remembers there are dogs there. However with commands from me to "leave it" and several tugs on the walker I am not having to use all my strength to drag him away from his fixation. With each successive walk there is less and less pulling, and each time he tries to take the lead on our walks a few tugs from me and he is back in line quicker each time. Originally I had feared that I would have to take each of my big dogs on separate walks in order to train JW to walk on a leash and dreaded that idea, now I am able to walk both (around 120 lbs together) comfortably. Now I also use regular leashes and the one I have on JW has a second handle for those times when he is really fixated, but all in all this harness has helped me improve JW's leash training as well as make our daily walks less of a dreaded chore and more enjoyable. One final thing about the harness the little tightener does loosen occasionally (mostly when he has his fixation moments...squirrel!) but it isn't anything for me to reach down and tighten it back up. So while Cooper is fine with a easy walk, the YUP halter is what I needed with JW, proving that there is no one product that will work for every dog/and person. Maybe down the road I will get another for Cooper just to have one, but for JW this has been the only halter/harness what have you that has worked to help me, help him learn to be on a leash and remember who is in charge..me! So if you are like me and have a determined dog I highly recommend this halter, just remember no product is an instant fix, everything takes time and some effort on your part..

This halter can really STOP BIG DOG FROM PULLING!!!
I'm a Chinese newly came to the State. I assumed that my English may be not entirely understandable for all of you. Thus I gonna put this at first no matter you would like to roll down or not. That is:This halter can really STOP BIG DOG FROM PULLING!!!THANK YOU amazon reviewers!! I would not encounter this super helpful halter without you guys' advises!!I had a quite BIG dog -- mixed German Shepherd over 100 lbs. I didn't meet him until I moved to my aunt's house then soon this buddy became my loyal pal. He's 12 years old but still amazingly active and a super strong puller. However he's ridiculously aggressive to dogs though he's very nice to people, which made my aunt grounded him at home and hardly gave him any walks. It's kinda harsh a out-going doggy. I tried to change this by walking him often. Alas, everytime he met any other dogs will doom to be disasters. I CAN'T pull him back from fighting at all!! What a dangerous and embarrassing nightmare...I did not walk him for days concerning the safety of other dogs he may meet. During weeks I kept searching for stop-pulling halter. The one has mesh material seemed acceptable but reviews said that a 40 lbs dog could break it when pulling. Oh imagination can be saved for mine. Then according to other reviews this one works better. Immediately I went to the Sporn homepage to find out how it work. The video clip explains the theory and function clearly so I ordered it at once for a try.Lucky for me on this!! It do work as it's advertised. So far it literally helped me stopping my dog for two times when he tried to rush and fight. Now walking my "wolf" is much more pleasant for me and safer for other four-paws friends.Definitely recommend this for any of you who got the same problem as I did. Life saver!

and if he sees a deer you had better be holding on
I have literally tried every no pull harness that there is. I've tried the head harness (didn't work) I thought I would give it one more try. What's one more unusable harness anyway! I have a 75 pound Shar Pei that takes me for a walk, and if he sees a deer you had better be holding on! The only thing I could use to control him was a prong collar, which I hate to use. The very first walk with this harness was amazing!!!!!! He tried to pull...like he normally does....but when the leash tightened, he turned around and looked at me and didn't pull!! We now have enjoyable, non pulling walks.

Dog Walks No Longer Suck!
JJ is my 75 lb puller. Hyper cat/squirrel chaser and has always been horrible on a leash. I got him the Sporn collar w/ the padded undercage straps and it’s made a big difference. My 100 lb Jake is super slow and slothy. *I just bought the Leashboss Double Leash Coupler for Large Dogs (X-long 16-28") & paired it with the Leashboss Short Dog Traffic Handler (18”). HOLY WOW. My hands have been hurting so bad the last year from walking them and all of the pulling. (I also type all day at work or I’m holding my heavy I-phone + .) These Leashboss buys have just changed my LIFE. I absolutely dreaded walking my dogs and now I LOVE it. HIGHLY recommend. Y’all have no idea. Do it!

I rated it 1 star because there wasn’t an option for 0 stars.
I measured this correctly, the collar fits my American pitbull terrier perfectly. Large would’ve been too big. However, my dog can’t even stand up properly with it on! Her legs go funny and her head has to bow down. There is no room for the restraints to pull, the end of the restraints are touching the D ring and cannot be pulled away from it. I wish I didn’t invest in this. The material from the restraints seems flimsy too. Total waste of money!

This Harness is great, had been struggling to stop my basset hound ...
This Harness is great, had been struggling to stop my basset hound puppy from pulling when out on walks and this product stopped her pulling right from the the first use. The harness is also ideal for use in training and the dog generally does not seem to mind wearing it. The only problem is I bought the medium size which only just fits so I will need to order a larger size shortly.

Nice
I really like this harness, would have given it 5 stars but the material the toggle is on is starting to wear (I guess it’s to be expected). The material under the front paws is nice padding and my dog loves it unlike the other harness products Iv bought prior.

Not for Malamutes!
Only gave one star because 0 stars wasn’t an option - Made absolutely no difference to our Alaskan Malamute and in fact she walked better on a normal collar and lead! Worst purchase I’ve ever made so will be returning.
