The device took about 5hours to charge and I was initially concerned that it wasn’t holding charge but that changed after a couple of days use. It’s very much like an iPhone in that regard. We’ve downloaded (synchronisation with Apple Music) over 4000 songs and +20 podcast programmes. The music plays ok through its speaker or through a hifi unit. The podcasts now keep updated through our wifi connection. We bought the Touch to replace an aged Nano and are happy with the choice. We will buy an arm band so we can use it in the gym and keep it safe. Overall, very happy.
