I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of this GOLDSTITCH vintage tailcoat! This was purchased for a Halloween costume. For context, our group of friends was a holiday calendar, we all drew holidays, my husband chose Presidents’ Day. This coat was perfect! The quality was much better than expected, the material was thicker than expected for a costume and the wrinkles steamed out well. We washed and dried it and it didn’t fade. He is 225 lbs, 5’11” and ordered the L. The material has a slight shine to it, the vest is sewn into the piece and can’t be separated. Please note that even though this quality was better than expected for a costume, it is still a costume and wouldn’t be appropriate as an actual suit coat for a dressy event.

Nice casual jacket for this look. I haven't washed it yet, but it's been packed and unpacked a couple of times and it doesn't seem to hold wrinkles. I put it in the dryer for about 5 minutes on the lowest heat setting when I first took it out of the package and it was basically wrinkle-free at that point. I like that it is lined and the fit is better than expected. I usually wear a 48L in a suit jacket and I bought this in the XL for a little extra room. For my comfort, that was a good call. I'd say the sizing recommendation is pretty accurate. The description for this review said black, but I ordered and received red. It's not the least bit wine colored. It is VERY red - which is what I wanted. I would definitely buy this brand again if I was in the market for something like this again. I purchased another similarly styled jacket in another brand and returned it. The jacket was OK, but this brand (fit, finish, lining) is a lot nicer for the same price.

This was a great addition to my husband’s costume. Perfect fit, exact color, and great quality.

I got this for my Halloween costume this year (like a ‘dead’ butler was the idea). Worked out nicely. The coat itself is nice and heavy which fit me great! It’s a one-piece item so the vest looks like it might be separate but it’s attached. You could probably wear this to some kind of formal event it’s that nice looking. I wore black pants and a white dress shirt underneath. Worked out great and I got lots of compliments. Lots of fun!

So issues is size. I ordered a large, it was way big I wear a large. I am guessing it was not tagged correctly. I ordered a medium and could not even put it on. So size is an issue. About the coat though, it's cool looking seems well made for cost. I tried twice and gave up.

Much better than I expected. Bought this for a costume party and don’t plan on wearing too many times. However, material seems to be more durable than I anticipated. There were a lot of loose strings that I had to cut off around the button holes, but that’s not a deal breaker. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a good costume (I got a lot of compliments on it.)

Cheap material and wayyyy to big I normally wear an xs in men’s clothing and it fits nice or just a tad big this was way too big on my fiancé even who wears a medium to a large in mens not sure if it got labeled incorrectly the tag says XS but it’s definitely closer to an Xl than an Xs

El material se siente un poco mejor de lo que esperaba , no tenía costuras rotas , por el precio me parece bien , considera que puede darte calor depende del clima , pues no es precisamente delgada ni transpirable.

Perfect for what I needed it for! Decent price, looks fantastic and had lots of compliments on my costume. Fit is really comfortable (bit big for me but I am short and plus size so that's down to me not down to the garment) Really comfortable to wear - wore all day for a cosplay event and then went clubbing it in later!

I liked that it said 3x but it fit my 13 year old daughter and could be used for my 18 year old son !
