Rubbermaid Brilliance BPA-Free Food Storage Containers Multi Pack, 1.3 Cup Plastic Containers with Lids, 5 Pack, Leak Proof, Microwave & Dishwasher Safe

I may have seen these on Minimal Mom (if so, thanks, Dawn!) and they have elevated food storage beyond my old 70's-2000's food storage containers. First, these are super sturdy. We have been using these for a couple of years now, ordered many more after our started set, and we have only cracked one of them. (and that took a long drop to the floor full of heavy food to finally happen). So yay for study. They do not bend or droop when full. They have snap-tight clamps on each side so when you close it, you are truly sealing it shut. You can micro in them, opening the clamps to vent. (I am careful about microwaving--I do 50% power, stir, do more, etc. I can't speak to how they hold up if you overheat them) But the best thing is I CAN SEE WHAT IS IN THE FRIDGE AND THEY STACK. These have prevent food wastage for us. If we can't see it, we forget it exists. Final advice, store these with the lids on and stack them on each other (Thanks again, Dawn). Fill up your cupboard and stop buying them when they fill the space. (Thanks Dana, at Decluttering at the Speed of Life) They are so easy to use when you keep the lid with them and on them. These are good for storing fresh food as well as leftovers, and they come in all sizes. I was a fan of Dollar Tree storage containers but I have to admit, the sturdiness and lids on these have won me over.

I started off buying sets of this excellent product. I needed a much larger size so that I could empty stew put instead of it taking up so much space in small refrigerator. This item worked perfectly. I like being able to stack these containers in refrigerator. I like even more that the lids are air tight/ fit tightly and then have lock down tabs to prwvent spillage. It is great that tabs pop up and lock to allow steam to escape while heating food in microwave. It is a lazy thing perhaps, but I am glad that these Rubbermaid Brillance containers are dishwasher safe both on top and bottom racks. I don't pur the lids in dishwasher. I prefer to hand-wash them. I also use the largeest size to store non-breakable Christmas ornaments.

These were great! The sizes in the multipack were perfect for our household. They worked so well for leftovers foods and meal prep to freezer to microwave to dishwasher and back again. They take a lot of abuse. They lasted about 2 years for us before cracks start forming in the midsized pieces we use the most. The lids are truly airtight and stay that way for the life of the piece! In fact, the lids would remain tight even when a crack formed down the side of the container - ha! For the price and convenience and two years of heavy duty use, I’d say that is a bargain!

Best leftover storage containers. They don't stain, they don't leak, seal tight, lightweight, durable, affordable. Like these much better than glass because they don't chip/break. They seal better than the glass ones. The plastic lids don't get brittle over time like the lids for glass Tupperware. They don't stain and get the same type of wear as other plastic storage containers - they stay clear. Great product

Simply stated, these are the best food storage containers you can buy. They are airtight. They are easy to clean. They are simple to open and close. They really are airtight. They are easy to store. Many of the lids are interchangeable with different sizes so you’re not constantly trying to find the right size lid. I ended up buying quite a few of these and everything is now in beautiful brilliant clear airtight plastic containers. They bounce on the floor. They don’t shatter. This is a top quality product. These large, horizontally-oriented storage container are perfect for pantry storage since they can stack and since the clear plastic allows you to see what's inside. They are leak-proof -- I just put some soup in one to freeze and the container tipped on its side by accident without losing a drop. I also use these to store grains because they are airtight. I love how the hard "brilliance" looks and function. They don't stain the way more porous plastic does, yet they are much lighter than glass storage containers. I also like that the gasket creates that airtightness with just two tabs, on opposing sides, instead of the usual four tabs.

I own other products in this line. They seal well, pretty easy to clean, pretty durable plastic, light weight, this size is easy to stack on top of each other other in frig rather long, not too wide, and tall enough that you can still stack them. I often use them to brine chicken breast before cooking

I love these containers. They are the perfect size for leftovers or heating vegetables. The lid is tight but I like it. No worries of spills. They are easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. I finally cleaned out all of my old containers that were too plastic and not safe for reheating. Also, threw away the multitude of mismatched lids and containers (where did those items go?). These containers are stackable and now my kitchen cupboard looks organized and neat.

Containers are great and provide a lot of variety for food prep. They stack very well and fasteners work well so you can tell the quality is good, unfortunately I thought I was purchasing glass containers but these are great quality for plastic options.
