At a fraction of the price of the OEM pen, I wasn't expecting much but this pen has far exceeded my expectations. It feels weighty and solid, well-balanced in the hand. It has an erase button on the side, unlike the MS version which has it on the top, and this side-mounted eraser is MUCH easier to use. The other side button is the equivalent of right-clicking. It feels and acts more like a traditional pen than my original MS pen, which is a plus. The kit includes multiple tips and a battery. They even offer tech support via email should you need it, but mine connected instantly without any settings input from me, and it has worked flawlessly ever since. I am SO glad I didn't pay for an original MS pen, this one is every bit as good and in some ways better--and MUCH less expensive.

In May 2020, my official surface pen died during the middle of my lecture, it was only 8 months old. I was forced to stop class during the Zoom days of teaching. I needed a new pen fast and for cheap. This was delivered same day for about $20 and I was able to resume classes the next day. I never expected it to last this long, I assumed I would buy an official surface later that month. However, this pen lasted 2 years and 5 months. I'm a graduate student and I use this pen a lot! Easily 6-7 hours a day, 7 days a week. Today, I pulled my pen out of my bag to realize that the eraser button had broken off. There was no chance of repair. But it still writes! After 2 years and 5 months my only complaints are sometimes it wouldn't recognize the pen for about half a second but continue writing, and screw top near the pen tip would loosen and require me to tighten about every third or fourth day. Also, when I first bought this pen, I assumed it needed to be connected to Bluetooth similar to my surface brand pen and I spent a few good minutes trying to get that work, only to realize that it works straight from the box as long as the battery is charged. I couldn't have asked for a better writing companion.

Install battery and you are ready to go. It works great for my Surface Duo. No calibration necessary. The button functions don't work on the pen for the Duo. This is probably not the fault of the pen. Remember this is a basic pen. Not the $100 proprietary Surface Duo pen. None the less, it works Great.

I use a Microsoft Surface DUO, this stylist is the best add-on product that functions extremely well. Requires no Bluetooth setup, nor any dongles, cables. I am most amazed with its overall functionality and operation. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who has any of the Microsoft Surface products.

A good substitute for the Microsoft surface pen.

My boyfriend lost the original stylus that went with his Microsoft Surface, so I wanted to get him a replacement so he could once again use all of the features on his tablet. He couldn't be happier with this stylus. It has all of the functionality of the original one and was so much cheaper.

This pen works better then the 100$ Microsoft brand. It’s precise and light weight. Good for drawing and writing. Honestly wish I would of found this first before I bought the Microsoft one.
