Disney Cars Toys Color Changers Lightning McQueen Vehicle

This is definitely my four year-old son's go-to car during playtime. He loves the Pixar Cars movies and sees Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Fin McMissile as his favorite characters. During playtime, all three of these cars are used to imagine some play scenario. Lightening is the star attraction during playtime. The quality of this vehicle is good, as are all the cars in the Pixar Cars vehicle series. This particular car has color-changing features. Put it in cold water or the freezer/refrigerator and it turns yellow. Take it out and warm it up, and it turns red. It makes for some fun playtime that enables little ones to use it in and out of the water. When the novelty of the color-changing feature wears off, your child has a fun car to play with. This makes a great gift or just a general purchase for fans of the Cars movie or any child who is really into cars.

Awesome little car. It changes color in ice cold water only. Running the faucet on cold wasn't cold enough to change it. We got a cup of ice and filled it with water and it worked well. Warm water changes it back.

My 3 year old loves anything Cars and loves the color changing cars. He has the Cars that looks like it's Ramon's paint shop, but that one didn't come with Lightning McQueen, so we had to get this, of course! It changes from red to yellow when you use hot and cold water. The "hot" water doesn't have to be scalding, either. Sometimes I give it to him in the tub with a small cup of ice water to sit on the edge of the tub. He dips it in the ice water and then in the bath.

Cheap plastic car with an expensive price tag. This was second hand do to the tape work done on package which should of made the car less expensive! This review will not let me add a photo of the tape up box. So I let my son play with it since there was no point to put it in my collection and the color changing will not change back. Just a patchy car.

I bought 3 different color change cars for my son (after he watched a kid online play with them, that's all he wanted for his birthday). He loves them! He likes to find different ways to make them cold, so it isn't uncommon to find them lined up in the fridge. We have only had them a few weeks, and he takes them in the tub pretty much daily. The paint on one of the cars started to peel right away. There are a few spots on two of the cars that no longer change. As they are plastic, they are very susceptible to scratches when my son crashes them together. Super cute, but definitely not the durable color-changers I had as a kid. 4 stars because my kid LOVED them!

My 3 and 6 year olds love it. The water has to be REALLY cold (like ice packs in a bowl of water) and REALLY hot (like almost to the point that I warn the kids not to touch it too much) to change color well. They do sort of chip and wear easily but the kids have tons of fun with all the color changing cars so it is worth it. And they are good bath toys too.

The car didn't last a week. My three year old played with it in the bath 2 times and it already doesn't change back to red it's pretty much a yellow car. He got this for his birthday on MONDAY its now THURSDAY!!! Seriously don't waste your money.

Works great with Ramones color changing car body shop toy. My son plays with these all the time. Nice size and takes them in the tub too. Cold water and warm water will cause extreme changes in color. Work perfect!
