Solid, Cheap Pen
I never review anything. I win or I lose. The $15 for this pen and two cartridges made me speak up. I have a smattering of pens and pencils from the last ~100 years in my desk. This pen is the BIC Crystal of fountain pens. My own silly hobbies aside, my friend who loves the Pilot V7 is now a cheap Parker convert. I'll be looking for a generic Parker-compliant converter eventually, but those cartridges last about as long as an actual BIC Crystal ballpoint tube. No skipping, no drips, uniform lines, it's basically just a regular pen if you can ignore the nib. But bold and smooth and whatever else you get with fountain vs. ballpoint/rollerball/gel etc. It's not fancy, but it does what it's supposed to do very, very well.

Nice pen for the price
It's a very light pen feels like plastic but it's a value priced pen, but it writes very well. I love the smoothness of the nib while I write. It is well worth the price and will work well for school.

A nice pen, but shipping is a gamble.
I have one of these pens, purchased in person in Germany which has served me well. The pen itself is nice, unpretentious and writes well enough for me. I bought myself a second identical Jotter on Amazon which arrived with a cracked barrel and would not stay assembled reliably. Damage may have happened in transit as the pen was in a plain shipping envelope that offers no protection. Other pens I've bought have had similar damage, getting snapped in half in transit! Debating whether to try buying one with a metal barrel (which could end up breaking the nib instead of barrel), or one packaged in a gift box for better protection in transit.

Great item, works well.
This is my first fountain pen, and I am SO HAPPY with it!!! It’s perfect for writing, and I personally use it for drawing. When you first use it, it will take a couple minutes for the ink to be flowing completely. But once it’s all through then it works smoothly! I love how it comes with black and blue ink, and I ordered extra ink as well. It has a great design and is super comfortable to use. I definitely recommend!

Inexpensive Fountain Pen
It's an inexpensive fountain pen. It's well made, the cartridges and "converter" (Piston ink pump) fit well and don't leak. Ink flow is good and the pen is nice to write with and reliable. This would be a good pen for a school child, it's less likely to be stolen because it would be fairly uncommon in a school, and it's refillable so running out isn't an issue if they have a bottle of ink with them. The materials, though thin, are high quality too. I expect the pen will last years if it's taken care of.

Very difficult to rate
Update: I was wary of just how cheap this pen felt. I was using it a few times a week on light duty just to keep it from drying out while a Lamy Safari did 95% of my daily writing. Well on the third refill change, the junk plastic body cracked just screwing it back together. Junk. Absolute junk. On one hand I love this thing. Writes great. Very smooth, nib is very comfortable and not too stiff. With the cap on the back it's very balanced. It's a great every day writer for me. On the other hand this thing is literally all plastic and very light at that. It doesn't feel like much more than the plastic you would have on a cheap cap ball point. It looks good. I can't tell you about durability because I pack my pens neatly and securely and haven't had any encounter where it would be put to the test. But I'm pretty sure it would not survive it. It's great if you're putting it on your desk and grabbing it for meetings and notes. If you are carrying this thing around in your pocket, you're probably taking a risk of it breaking there. And I'm a huge jotter fan. I have no issues with it for what it is, but I am a road warrior, and if I need to grab a pen and leave my bag, this isn't the one I am throwing in my pocket or attaching to a notebook.

Makes writing fun
The jotter is smaller and easier to hold than some pens which suits me just fine. Good balance even with the cap posted and writes effortlessly using Parker brand ink cartridges. Out of habit I store my fountain pens nib down to insure that it writes without priming but with this pen it may not be necessary. Other reviewers have stated their concerns about the quality of plastic components and the manufacture source. I have plastic blister pack Parkers from the 1970’s that are still performing well. Parkers made in France vs. India isn’t an issue for me. The more expensive Parkers I own are heavier and stay at the home desk. It doesn’t come with a converter so I fill the spent cartridges with a syringe filled with my favorite bottle inks (Birmingham, Parker and Pilot). This is a great everyday pen (I bought 4) and is a good value for the money.

Executive Look & Feel and writes well!
I am an Executive Assistant, I write a ton so I like nice pens. I was gifted a pen from my company when I started that was customized with our logo and I absolutely loved the way it wrote. The pen ran out of ink quickly, they gave me a few more, I ran out of ink again so I am on the hunt for a new pen that I can purchase and keep on stock at all times. While I am still searching for a pen similar to the one I have, I am glad I ordered this pen. It has an executive look, feel and writes well. I do recommend this pen. Pros: -Executive look and feel -light weight and easy to hold -writes well & does not smudge (unless you run your finger across your writing immediately) -great price point for the quality Cons: -Only con for me was that the ink felt like it was a little dry right when I started using it but I guess that can be replaced.
