I have two small dogs and they both love the Pedigree Dentastix Dual Flavor (Bacon & Chicken). It’s a nice combo of treat + dental benefit—they get excited for the taste, and I like knowing it helps with cleaner teeth and fresher breath. We’ve bought these multiple times and will keep reordering. Very nice size for our Havanese. She lets us know that she expects one Dentastix daily at 4:00 p.m.. She loves the taste. We like that our eleven year old dog has nice breath, and the vet says her (remaining) teeth are in great shape.

Big hit for my little guys and even my large dogs too. My larger dog's favorite chew treats are very nubby and thick and have gotten pricey. So I normally cut them into smaller chunks to be able to give the small dogs their share of the treat. But the chore of cutting the bones into manageable size treats got old quick. This is a product my dogs love and they really really LOVE the bacon and chicken flavor. I even shared them with my big beagle mix girls (which I need to find this flavor in the large Dentastix treats. These are like a dog's version of french fries! They would eat the whole bag if they could get their paws on it. Good deal on this product and it makes my fur kids happy.

My dogs love love these dental treats. The quality is amazing. Some dental treats are super hard and I worry about their teeth but these are very easy to chew for them. I give them one every morning after they eat so they expect them. I’m not sure how they taste of course but they seem to enjoy them so much. Will definitely continue to purchase these for them. I think they are safe for the dogs

Good quality, long lasting chews. This flavor is the only one that actually helps my dog’s breath between his monthly teeth cleaning at the groomer. He looks forward to getting one each morning!

My little old dog is very picky when it comes to anything meant to clean his teeth. He hates all of the fake meat-flavored bone alternatives and toothpastes, but he loves the mint flavored Dentastix. I wish I’d found them sooner! He does have to work at eating them since he’s had several teeth pulled over the years, but he actually chews them rather than trying to swallow them whole like the green treats by another brand. Size & chew: I compared nutrition labels before buying, and these Dentastix have the highest moisture content of all the green treats I could find, which makes them a little easier to bite into than others even though they appear larger. I think the X shape, while unwieldy, also helps since he’s not having to bite through a half inch of solid treat. Effectiveness: Nothing will really help my dog’s breath at this point, because the vet wasn’t able to pull a large tooth that’s rotting in back. I will say that these treats don’t have that nasty fake meat smell, just a mild minty scent, and I think that they help clean his remaining teeth since he actually chews them. Longevity: I was worried that these might get stale since I was buying such a large quantity, but there doesn’t seem to be any decline in quality over time from what I can detect of the scent and texture. I do my best to minimize exposure to air, light, and temperature changes to keep them fresh. I prefer to break each sheet into individual sticks before storing as many as I can in a ceramic jar with a rubber gasket for quick, easy access. (You can see my dog checking out his treat jar in the pic.) I also squeeze any extra air out of the bag with the remaining treats before closing the built-in zip seal and putting it in the pantry. Maybe I’m being overly cautious, but my dog only gets one a day, and he was just as enthusiastic to eat it on day 102 as he was on day 1. I call that a win!
