I started using this product with my daughter because I have having a hard time finding something that would keep her hair up in pre-k. Not only is this product scent free, it rarely leaves the white flakes behind. If you use just a little it gives the hair shape. Perfect for my daughter’s sensitive skin!

The only hair gel I can use that doesn't make my scalp itch & works great all day too. Love it & have recommended it to others multiple times. Great product if you have skin sensitivities.

August 2019- I am SO glad I found this product a year ago! Here’s the story of us getting here: My PRESCHOOL son has longer hair (boys can have long hair too!), and I have been on a literal journey to find good hair products for him. He has somewhat fine hair, but a lot of it, and I have tried hair gel, mousse, pomade, hair wax, spray gel, etc. to see what works best. (Think Brad Pitt circa early 90s- my hair goals for my son, ha!) I loved the texture affect that pomade and wax gave, but it didn’t hold well enough to keep it out of his face when he plays and gets sweaty. (Active 4, now 5 year old!) I settled on gel and spray gel because it holds all day and I can texture it with my fingers well enough, BUT I noticed his scalp started looking dry and flaky. It started looking like eczema & even getting to where it looked like juvenile scalp psoriasis or something! SO, I switched his shampoo to an all natural one, added a natural, light conditioner for scalp nourishment, and did a once a week essential oil treatment on his scalp at bedtime (pure coconut oil, avocado oil, tea tree oil mixture, very diluted). That helped SO much, but I started to see a pattern that the flakes would come back after school or church days (days that I “fixed” his hair). I searched for natural, ”chemical free” styling products, and this was the first one I tried. I made sure to wait until the scalp issue cleared up before starting it (he went to school with athletic cloth headbands on for a few days since I didn’t use hair products to keep hair out of his face- he looked adorable!). Once we started using this Free & Clear hair styling gel last year, the scalp problems have NOT RETURNED! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 We love this hair gel for my boy! Excellent hold, he can play and get sweaty all day at pre-K and even if he messes with it, no hair falling in his face. I can texture it well enough with my fingers to get a fuller look (not slicked back against his head like a greaser from the 50s), and we are sooo happy! This is our product, please don’t change anything about it, it’s the BEST!!

This product works great on fine hair as long as not too much is applied. I comb my hair and spread a small amount on my hands and while still wet just skim the top of my hair. I think it works better than a spray.

I appreciate that this is fragrance free, and it works well without leaving any white residue. I did feel the product was mismarked, though. I thought I was buying a 2 pack of 14 ounce tubes, but it is actually a 2 pack of 7 ounce tubes for 14 ounces total. Hope this helps someone!

I love this product! Doesn’t have that heavy feel like other gels do. Holds up well and a little goes a long way. Been using this for over 5 years now.

I was having a major scent allergy and tried this product. There was no scent which was great. However, it left my hair feeling so dry. I wouldn't use it again, as it took a while to get my hair to feel like it had more moisture. I have natural wave/curls and frizzy gray hair. This did not help any of my issues except the scent. I guess it cleaned my hair OK but it sure caused some dryness. I am back to using regular Loma moisturizing shampoo and it works so much better. I'm now able to tolerate the scent again, thank goodness.
