Red Kite Baby Peppermint Trail Play Gym

I refused to spend £40-£50+ on a play gym, I can confirm this is a great alternative. The material is soft and I'd say cushioned enough for a baby, very bright and colourful. It comes with balls as I know the sides can be put up into a little enclosed square however I haven't used this function yet. I also haven't had to wash it yet so unsure how it holds up when having to wash, the material is quite spongy so any sicky ot spillages I'd imagine would soak in but most play gyms are like this. It comes with 5 different dangly toys, squeezable squeaky, jingly, rustly and also a mirror for in the middle do a mixture of textures and noises for good sensory play. It comes in a waterproof plastic bag and very simple to assemble. I paid £25 for this and highly recommend it after having an initial issue with delivery and it going missing for a few days however that's an Amazon problem not supplier.

Absolutely love this product! I would be lost without it. Its plush, of high quality, very comfortable and the fabric is easy to clean. Its patterns are beautifully bold and bright. The hanging toys are lovely; like several other reviews, i found the fox to be his favourite. Hes destroyed its tail chewing on it but still goes straight for it every time (fyi, the toys washup well on delicates setting of our Washing machine. As for the super cute bag, it comes with only 5 balls which arent really all that but make a nice addition to the mat. Our little man is on the heavier side for his 5 months and is extremely strong. He has used the fox's tail and the mirror to try and pull himself several times - its both funny and reassuring to watch the arches 'buckle' (shaking) but never break! Its extremely sturdy and would take a significant amount of force to damage. I absolutely love love LOVE this and would recommend it to any parent.

Bought this in December for my little girl and she loves it, she's still a bit to little to play properly but it catches her attention with the lovely colours and cute toys, keeps her safe inside with the side up and the balls are a little bonus for her to play with when she's a little bigger. It's also such a good price some like this are 30+ and nice to have a little bag to keep the balls and toys safe when not in use

Reasonably priced. Arrived quickly. Seems well made and comfy. Attractive to look at and the 3 week old seemed to be content in this ‘nest’. I like the fact that the sides can be raised. Eventually we will buy more balls to augment the 6 that came with it so that it can be used as a ball pit as babe becomes more aware of his world. The storage bag for the accessories is a useful addition.

Great play gym bought as a gift

Got this on sale for £15. Really good value, large mat. Easy to assemble. Really beautiful mat and would definitely buy again. The only annoying thing was that there is a layer of plastic sheet on the mirror which you need to take off before use, but it’s literally sewn in around the sides so it’s really hard to get it all off. Don’t want the baby to chew the mirror and get a little bit of plastic in his mouth - I had to get a knife to try to score around mirror to remove but I still think there is some wedged in the sides. Not sure why the manufacturers feel the need for all the plastic packaging on baby toys and clothes.

Can’t believe the quality for the price!!! So pleased with it and does exactly what’s advertised! Easily to clean. Can just wipe surface and can just chuck in the wash. My 2 month old loves it. No need to spend loads on a play gym - this does just the trick and baby loves the contrast in colours and the little hanging toys. Some rattle, some squeak and have different textures. Also the little mirror is great that hangs she loves looking at herself it. MUST have for newborn and great gift for baby shower!

Das Kind hat viel spaß damit

Would have given it more stars, but had to pay extra 24 euros upon receiving the package for customs. Makes it rather expensive for what it is. Unlike some of the reviews here, I received it fully complete with balls, bags etc. Set up is rather complicated, and you need to watch for the straws to not kick you in the eye, but that's my first one - not sure if others are any better. Overall, looks good.
