Power Acoustik RZ4-1200D 1200W Class D 4 Channel Amplifier, Black

This amp is small and powerful. Just what I needed to upgrade my sound system with room to upgrade my speakers. I crudely tested the maximum RMS output of the amp with a multimeter and it seems to be putting out about 90 watts RMS at 4 ohms, slightly lower than the rated 100 watts but I'm happy with it for this price. I will be testing again when I upgrade my speakers and start to run it at 2 ohms. The amp is very clear, crisp and loud. FM radio is still clear. Mids and highs sound great at the fixed 80Hz crossover. Overall very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: 2 months later at mostly full volume listening, the amp is still doing great. I have added tweeters and am now running it at 2 ohms, I did a test and it is putting out 146 watts RMS per channel. This amp is accurately rated as far as I can tell. I 100% reccomend this amp. It is extremely loud although it does distort a bit at peak volume, but that is probably my cheap head unit.

1 channel died within three months. Do your research. Not worth the money.

Runs very well

Surprisingly, this amp really pushes my sub. Great Aunt for the dollar.

For about 6 months I have this amp paired with a Clarion Cz702 HU pushing four 6.5 JBLs . The sound is loud and clear even at half input level set up. I have no problem what so ever with over heating or cut off. The only problem that I had was alternator noise but that can happen with any amp, in my case were old RCAs cables. I love the size and the sleek plain black design. It fits perfect in to my car OEM amp location so no crazy wires ruining all around the trunk., this amp looks clean and sounds clean. I am very satisfied with it so far.

Channel went out in less than 3 month 😪😭😭 other than that the sound was good

Excellent small class D amp @ 125w rms x4 from 1200w peak unit. Gets warm not hot when pushed so give it air to cool. My 2nd, the first is still going strong after 4 yrs. I also have the 900w mono block driving a 12” sub. There size makes them fairly easy to locate and low power consumption compared for its output. Best gain setting is a balancing act, start set gain to minimum, head unit volume to 75-80% which is below the clipping threshold, increase gain on amp until speakers begin to distort, then reduce to clear state then max gain is now set. Will require to be redone if any major EQ changes as the head unit output will change. EQ then gain until unit its dialed in for your components.
