I bought a few colors before I went to SE India last year so I would have them on hand upon arrival. They are excellent quality and have the draw string, rather than just elastic, which makes them far more comfortable to wear. Just remember to wash them by hand because the dye is not set and they bleed. They are of very good cotton and light weight to help manage any heat and/or humidity you may find yourself in. They pack tightly, so would be good to include in a pack to always be modest when you are traveling in another culture.

Could not wear till I soaked them in cold water w a 1/4c white vinegar to set the dyes & a squirt Dawn liquid to remove the odors.Be careful to soak in a bucket, the dyes temporarily stained my sink.

I really like the color and the material is very breathable and it washes well in cold with dark colors only. It dries on low or you could hang dry. the only thing for me is the fit around the waist. the design is one I am not familiar but they do fit me well and are very comfy. the material is lightweight and is good quality. it's not see through and goes well with any loose tops you like.

Skip, I do nt know how these got any good reviews. They are a very odd shape and cut. I have no idea who they would fit. I bought the black it was still see through, the material felt so rough I can't even believe it is cotton! I guess to be fair if i washed them several times maybe they would soften up, but I returned them so I will never know. The shape was so weird I have never seen a pant cut like this, not flattering and they were see through! Also seemed very poorly made and like they would fall apart.

Be careful when checking sizing. Also, a little short for me. I’m average, 5’5” and the waist sits at my hip bones. Definitely have iron these, unlike others I have purchased that seems to have a blend of cotton and maybe a little polyester? Or a different weave of cotton. Ones I purchased in India didn’t have to be ironed if you hung them to dry

I bought a pair for tie dying and they took the dye beautifully. I’m 5’1”. They tie at my belly button, over my hips, at my natural waist. The length would come to the floor, but the cuff at the bottom stops that. I ordered an xl, when I usually wear a medium in American sizing. These fit my too large waistline comfortably, with lots of room in the pants. I dyed a cotton tunic from India at the same time (along with some canvas high tops.) I love my new outfit and get lots of compliments on it. So comfortable and cool. Another reviewer described how air seems to flow through and cools you down. Very accurate. These pants are perfect for summer. I doubt they’d be good for winter. We’ll see.I find that foreign sizing often runs small, so I really lucked out finding a shirt that actually fits my short, little t-Rex arms 🤗I immediately ordered more pants to dye, and a black pair. Unfortunately, shipping is taking forever ⏳would give five stars, if it wasn’t for the very long wait to get them.

I purchased these in Navy Blue, XXL. They are a true navy blue, so darker than the photo. My hips are 48" and there were a few inches to spare that made them comfortable when I sat or bent over. I washed them in cold water and they are not color fast so you may need to wash them a few times and put vinegar in the rinse cycle to help set the dye. These are cotton lawn, so in the clothes dryer I just used the air setting.The wonderful thing I discovered about these pants is they are so cool. I live in a hot dry climate and these seem to actually circulate air through the legs, keeping me extra cool. If you want pure comfort at home or for casual wear, I recommend these wonderful pants. I will be ordering another pair, or two, immediately. Note: as another reviewer mentioned, these are a lightweight cotton so White is not recommended if you are going to wear them out in public.
