The shelf is exactly like described, and it is going to add space where I need it, but the permanence of the painted (black) surface leaves a LOT to be desired. Just hanging it dinged it up badly, so when you go to hang it, be sure and have your Sharpie ready to touch up the areas of paint that come off. Not impressed with that.

didn't know these didn't come with anyway of affixing them to the wall..... so I have to buy mounts and screws. but they look nice in the bedroom. Nothing says this is the Bedroom of an Adult with his life together like a few shelves hanging on the wall.

Back corner was damaged looks like qc missed it.

I pulled this up under floating shelves. I did not read it close enpugh. It is not you need brackets and hardware to hang it.

These decorative edge shelves are nicely done, I like the stain and the routered edge. Some shelves I have bought online have been rough and even warped, but these shelves are flat and well sanded. I am very happy with the way they look on my wall.

It's only wood-- but relatively cheaply made and finished. Damaged during shipping, too. Returned. No hassles.

Corners of shelf were missing their cardboard guard causing the shelf to be quite banged up

It arrived,on time but the one corner was damaged and there were chips along the bottom edge.Not very decorative. I would not recommend this item.
