More action centered & less relationship focused
“Sometimes the devil is the only option, but best to leave it to those of us who have already sold their souls.”“Sky had touched her where no one else had ever dared to reach, and now she couldn’t seal the wounds.” “The only thing that had changed was her. Oh, she still believed, she still burned with the need to carry out her duty, but she bled now in places she never had before.” “She’d told herself she didn’t need to be known for so long, didn’t need to be touched by anyone who truly saw her, that she’d come to believe it. She’d believed her mission, her objective, her duty, was enough to satisfy.” “And without truly believing she was capable of it, Loren had fallen in love.” “For the first time in her life, something mattered more than the mission.” “I love you. No matter where you are, no matter where I am, I will always find you.”• ~ • ~ • ~ •An intriguing series continues with another good, entertaining story with interesting characters, taught attraction & captivating action mystery all extremely well written… The entire book has you saying—What's gonna happen next?Wonderfully written, wonderfully developed, wonderfully told, wonderfully enjoyed.PS—We should all get into Cam & Blair’s inner circle cause EVERY character that get close to them ends up finding their Forever Love… except for the dead ones (but that's only the single folks so the odds are WAYYY worth it!! )

Not Her Best Effort
Again, classic Radclyffe in the "Code" series. Think there may be too many plot lines going here. Including so much of Cameron and Blair - to those who've followed the series - waters down the potential to develop a more solid story here. "Firestorm" worked so well because it focused mainly on one couple involved in wildfire fighting and allowed the reader a real taste of what that life entails. "Code of Honor" tries to focus on too many relationships: those in the White House, those in Russo's campaign, the family dynamics of the paramilitary believers in Bitterroot, and then, the central meet and romance between the two protagonists working undercover in a motorcycle gang. Think the book would have benefited from more focus on perhaps just two areas at most. The classic elements of the Radclyffe romance were there, but the waffling of the story from group-to-group, and plot-to-plot became really annoying. I realize Radclyffe feels she has to publish several times a year, but she's also running her publishing company and I think her attention is being scattered enough so that she is unable to give the weight to the "Honor" series that she achieved in the "Justice" series.

Worthy Entrance into the Series
I highly recommend this. If you've read the Honor series, you owe it to yourself to continue with this one. This addition introduces two new characters who are just as likable as Blair and Cam, maybe more so. This had a bit of a Sons of Anarchy feel with the biker subculture exploration, which was very cool. The new characters, Loren and Sky, were well-written and, in my opinion, the best characters Radclyffe has added since the fourth novel. I wouldn't mind seeing them in a spin-off of their own. Blair and Cam were still great to follow, but took a back seat to the new pair.I sincerely hope there is a continuation of this one soon after one hell of an ending!

A return to form for the Honor series
Awesome continuation for the Honor series. This felt like a return to form for Radclyffe after the las couple got bogged down a bit. I love Cam in a position of real power in the government. She is so hot when she's giving orders I guess.Loren And Skye were my favorite part. It was great having characters unconnected to all the stuff with Blair and the President. The biker lifestyle was really engaging and tense. I would love for this series to continue to open up and cover more of the globe. In a way this felt a bit like an Elite Operatives book written by Radclyffe instead of Baldwin and Alexiou. And that was fun.

Highly recommended
Just like all of Radclyffes books, the only thing negative I can say is that they are not long enough. I have an extensive collection of lesbian romances and Radclyffe always stays at the top of my list. You get to feel as if you KNOW her characters personally and she puts extensive knowledge and research into what she is writing. There are so many books out there that have sequels and usually by the 2nd or 3rd, I tire of them because they seem the same. Radclyffe can take the same characters into new scenarios and leaves me unable to put the book down until it is finished and then re-read.

Really Good Read
Not the best of the Honour Series - I preferred the first 3. But it might be because I missed a step - I didn't read the last Honour one where Cam and Blair were secondary characters. I prefer the ones where Cam and Blair are the primary characters. But the characters in this one hold their own. It's another good effort by Radclyffe with all the old likeables.

Well
Nothing I can say can truly says what I feel about Raddcliffes talent. There are literary greats and I've read most of them but I'd put Radcliffe definitely amongst them especially in the field of lesbian literature. Truly a great writer and even manages to link characters from other novels into the mix which makes the read more inspiring. I seriously can not wait for the next instalment, and continue with cams, Blair, Starks, Wes even, Lorenzo sky's and not forgetting the other truly great characters Diane, Valerie , mac, and Renee. Please hurry I'm truly addicted and need the next instalment. Thanks Bob and read them all you won't be disappointed.

Another triumph
The Honor series revolves around Cameron and Blair and the need for Cameron to do right by her country while adoring her wife.... This book introduces two new characters Loren and Skylar and they add great tension and drama. Very tense and credible thriller. Recommended.

Good to have Cam back
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because I would have liked more of Cam in the story but I appreciate it's difficult for Radclyffe to keep finding ways to demonstrate her character. All power to Radclyffe's elbow!

Brilliant!!!! that is what you expect when you read a Radclyffe novel, she sure didn't disappoint.Only down point, not worth losing half a star for was Toning Down the sex scene. Oh well!!!

loved Loren but...
I loved the new characters and how the previous ones have matured but it is very strange that every female book has mostly lesbians in. I would have expected a more realistic view of the world
