Works well for stabilising loose gravel
Used this to help bind loose gravel and stop it spreading, and it works really well. Easy to apply and soaks into the surface nicely. Once dry it helps hold the stones together while still looking natural, which keeps paths and areas looking tidy. Coverage was good and the 5L container goes a fair distance depending on the surface. Great option if you want to stabilise gravel without fully concreting an area.

Expensive but effective
Short review: expensive for what it is. I needed to apply two coats. But it does seem to work where other products have failed. Detailed review: we have decorative gravel borders at the front of the house. Unfortunately neighbours’ cats use this area as an extended litter tray. I am out there every few days scraping the stuff up and it isn’t a pleasant task. Plus I have had to throw away more and more of the gravel over time. I tried numerous cat repellent products, none of it worked, even the ‘extra strength’ compound that smelt nearly as bad as the stuff it was supposed to prevent. Because I’d had to throw so much gravel away, I had it all relaid and was determined not to go through the same cycle again so tried the Vuba solution. Firstly, I think this is very expensive for what it is. A 5 litre drum costs £50, I bet it doesn’t cost them anything like £10 a litre to manufacture. It comes ready to apply, no need to dilute it or anything like that. I used a simple hand-pump garden sprayer to apply, followed the instructions, it was easy to use. No nasty solvent/chemical smell and it was easy to wash off my hands afterwards. Applied first coat in dry conditions, waited 24 hours, it didn’t seem to completely hold, some of the gravel was still loose (this may be because the gravel borders are deep in places). Gave it a second application, waited another 24 hours and this seemed to do it, really strong hold on the shingle this time. It dries with a nice sort of matt varnish effect. It has now been down for a week and it has done the trick, it has bonded the shingle so we’ll that it is solid and now can’t be dug up by the cats and there has not been any mess at all to clear up. Just what I was after. It only remains to be seen how long it lasts when exposed to weather over the course of the year (not sure how it will hold up to baking sun, rain, frost etc but we will see).

2nd Bottle worked well - great customer support
Review Update - The company reached out to me after reading my review offering to help, they provided me with support and advice, even replacing the bottle of Easihold that i had received. I resprayed the path again according to the instructions and this time all appears well! The gravel has held much better on this occasion, whilst some areas are still a little loose underfoot the majority of the path is now rock solid. I will leave a few more days and re-spray the loose under foot sections. As a result i am much happier with the finished result - time will tell how long it lasts, however you can not fault the customer care from this company, they were quick and responsive offering solutions and support. 5 star service! We have a small gravel path that leads from our decking to the rear of the garden, inlayed with 600x600 slabs. I was fed up with the gravel being kicked around and ending up on the slab path so i looked for solutions. I ordered this product as it looked like it could solve my problem! You get a decent 5l bottle of what i would describe as watered down PVA glue. I followed the instructions to the letter, a liberal spraying, rake, spray again, leave 36hrs and spray again. Initially i was very pleased with the result, the stones seemed to bond well - however around 6 days later we had rain... and this seemed to destroy the bond between the stones - the majority of my path is now loose again! My stones are all under 20mm and the depth is within the range of application. Surely a bit of rain shouldn't destroy the bond?!

Doesn't work for Cotswold stones.
Why did you choose this product over others?: We really really really hoped this glue would work but unfortunately it didn't... We have Cotswold gravel stones in our back garden as a gravel patio. So the area is larger than just a gravel path. The stones are not rounded and about 10-20mm in size. It could well be that this glue just doesn't work for such big size, but we followed the instructions step by step, used both methods - spray (very generously) and mixing stones with the solution, neither kept the stones in place for long. Oh, we have a solid tamper as part of the garden work, so we did knock the gravel down as solid as we could. Yes initially we did feel the stones sticking together, but once you started walking on them, not kicking them, they started to come loose. And a week later, they just all went their own ways. Not giving this a 1 star as I think this glue could work. But the application is going to be much more specific, such as stone size, shape, dirtiness, how deep the stone layer is, and how much glue is used. The advert made it look like this is a one size fits all solution. It isn't. So be aware. We won't be buying this again, or any other similar spray on/mixture glues. The only thing that can work I think is the permanent rasin that bond all the stones together permanently.

Good with Three Coats
If you’re reading a negative review from anyone saying that this didn’t work with two coats, ignore it as it’s a three coat system! It clearly says that in the manual. The key is three coats. The first after you’ve cleaned all your stones and they dry, the second after your raked them about a bit, the third after you’ve flattened them all back down; I used the back end of a rake. It gives the stones a bit of a wet look, so consider that if you prefer the dry look of your stones. The price is a bit much, for what it’s, in my opinion, £20 would be more reasonable and probably make it more popular. Use a pump strayer with a nozzle that’s on a hose, so you can get close to the side of patio slabs without coating them. Then leave it to dry for a day or two. It doesn’t set like concrete, so don’t expect it to hold up long if it’s somewhere where people walk all the time or play however, generally it seems good in lower traffic areas and if like us you have gravel that surrounds spaced out slabs that always got kicked about, this helps prevent it.

I would recommend to that Amazon do not sell this product until these recommendations are done !
I am very disappointed in this product. I am a chemical engineer with a strong background in polymer chemistry. This product does not work. I used lots of ways to spray the product a watering can with rose it blocked. A pump action sprayer it blocked in the end I used lots of car detailing spray bottles and they blocked as well. The problem is you need to improve your formulation and supply a filtration kit to filter the liquid product to take the large particles that are causing the blockage. I had to buy a lot more product and in the end mix the stone with the product in a cement mixer. Also you need to send a risk assessment with your product. Saying it is an irritant and you should where glasses and chemical grade some gloves .and also what to do if you get the product on your skin or eyes. I would strongly recommend to the HSE that Amazon do not sell this product until these recommendations are done. It is not safe or fit for purpose.

Great product, but awkward lid
The actual product is great and worked well on stone gravel when you follow the instructions, but loses a star for how difficult it was to open. I really struggled to open it and hurt my hand. I obviously lack the strength! The lid is in a dip near the handle and I found it painful to open. I ended up stabbing the plastic and pouring the product into my own sprayer.

let it cure!
The reviews scared me a bit but WOW, does this ever work well. I also love the 'wet' look it gives the rock (As we have grey rock) afterwards. I did not do the mixture and trowel method, i did the spray on. I did about 4 or 5 coats with a few hours in between each spray down. Day 1 i was worried but after 3 days of curing, it is like concrete. Absolutely worth the value, and works very well if you just be smart about using it. Again, 3 days it took to cure in 30C weather but now its perfect. also, for rock, recommend spraying it down if its new cuz it will have dust on it which will stop the blue from working.

Mycket effektivt
Har småsten runt våra träd i trädgården, och där fastnade våran robotgräsklippare lite då och då. Nu är ytan hård och fast och problemet löst! Trodde att det skulle bli blankt, men det blev det inte. Syns egentligen inte alls!
