The book is great

I bought this book for my online medical terminology class and it was a lot better of a book than I expected. It was my first online class and I was worried that the book would be hard to follow, but that turned out to be the complete opposite case. It is very easy to follow with all the fill-in step by step directions. Medical terminology is almost like learning another language and this book is perfect for the job. It is repetitive so the terms will stick in your head and there is a lot of great glossaries in the back. Each chapter is a different system in the body. I would recommend this book to anyone taking a medical terminology course or wanting to become proficient in medical terminology!

I used this for a class and then lost it during a move. I decided to re-buy it to help with other classes- which it does. I love the set up of the book and it comes with a ruler-type device That one uses to cover the answers while working the problems. I made my own answer cover in the past for other texts but it is nice that this book comes with one. It is also nice having the answers on the same page so there is no flipping around to the appendices. I suggest this book for any student.

I purchased this book as part of an online study program to become a medical technologist. In the space of 7 to 10 days I went from knowing next to nothing about bodily systems to aceing a 220 question test on these subjects. I only missed 5 questions out of 220. I would recommend this book as a great way to learn the subject.

I received this item fast and it was exactly how it was described in the info that I read on it before I bought it. It also can't with both the cds that originally came with the book and the price was much more reasonable than buying it new.

I didn't know beforehand that this book was meant to be written in, and when I got it all the work had already been done for me. I therefore missed out on the learning I would have gotten by doing it myself, but I am saving time just reading it through. Be sure to decide that having the blanks filled in is a big deal to you, if it is buy this book new.
