But then I decided to just let it run for a while to see what happened. Well, it did start emitting a scent! And after a couple of days of use, I can now see a mist (I’m not sure if it just took a while to work it’s way up the tube or maybe the high heat/humidity made it hard to see any mist). It emits a nice light scent and I can see how this would be ideal for a car. I got it to put next to my computer while I’m working, and as someone who is sensitive to strong smells I think it’s a really great option when you want to diffuse a scent but don’t want to feel like you’re in a cloud of it.Definitely not for big rooms, but great for when you want a light scent nearby. ### ⭐⭐ Love this product! *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2019* This product malfunctioned. The first unit I had worked well for a week then stopped omitting a scent. It sounded like it was working but no scent. Was it defective or did the summer heat (108*F where I live) damage it? It was easy to return for a new unit, no hassle at all.Second unit I did not put into my car due to the heat. I was going to save it for when it cools down. Plugged into my computer to diffuse next to me while I work. The scent was faint, even right next to my mouse pad. I prefer to use my larger diffuser/humidifier with my essential oils.I am getting a refund and will return the unit via the easy UPS store drop off code sent to be by Amazon.***UPDATE***Because it is so hot where I live I was not going to put the diffuser back in my SUV, which is the whole reason I purchased this in the first place. I did return without hassle. Company personally called me the check why I returned it. Friendly, offered free products to "test" in the heat.
