Awesome, safe and durable sippy cup
Love this bottle. Being the neurotic mom that I am, I thoroughly researched and vetted my son's sippy cup prior to purchase. This one is fantastic. We try to avoid plastics, but I did want him to have the option of using handles so this was the safest option. Both the handles and round connector piece for the nipple are plastic but the two parts which are in most contact with your child ( nipple (silicone) and liquid housing(stainless steel)) are plastic free. I bought a backup nipple and second bottle as my son drops ( or throws~!) this all the time but we have yet to have to replace anything, all parts have been going strong for over 6 months now. Some reviewers complained about the top leaking. Because of the silicone nipple, I have found that when you are putting it together, if there is any water present on the base of the nipple where it meets the mouth of the bottle, it can leak from this site. It has to be a clean seal to be tight, but if you wipe that before attaching it, I have never had a problem with this leaking. Excellent product.

Love this sippy cup!
We love this sippy cup! We had been using the thinkbaby plastic sippy, but I was feeling guilty about our baby drinking out of plastic every day. I was so excited when I discovered this stainless steel cup! I was a little nervous about it leaking, after reading a couple of the bad reviews, but we have had zero problems. The only time water comes out (besides when she drinks from it), is if she presses on the flexible sippy spout. But she leaves it on its side on the floor all the time, and we have had not a single leak problem. (Maybe some of the other reviews don't have it screwed on correctly?) It's also great that we have been able to reuse the spout, ring, and handles from our plastic bottles on the stainless steel body. I feel so much better having her drink from this sippy cup, and we will definitely be buying another soon!

I feel really good about giving my baby liquids in this cup
I feel really good about giving my baby liquids in this cup. It's hard to find a good sippy cup that doesn't allow liquids to touch plastic, so I was excited to find this. The handles are great for helping my baby learn how to drink by himself. I also like that it is compatible with the company's other products that can turn it into a bottle or cup with a straw to grow with baby. My little guy is still figuring out how to use sippy cups and mostly plays with it at this point, and I have been happy to see that it doesn't really leak when he holds it upside down. A couple downsides: If the nipple gets pushed down in just the right way, it can fall into the cup and you may end up with a mess to clean up. Also, because the outside is stainless, dropping it on any hard surface is, well, REALLY loud.

I hate how plastic cups get nasty and smelly and gross ...
I have five kids and have been through the menagerie of sippy cups with all of them!!! I hate how plastic cups get nasty and smelly and gross and did I say grungy after awhile? So was on the lookout for something easy to sanitize and keep clean. This fit the bill perfectly. great for baby to hold and comes out nicely. If needed I can change the nipple part for a new one. The only thing is you have to be careful to get the lid on straight and tight or it will leak, but from my experience, that is the issue with all screw on lids. Love it and would get again

Cup doesn't seal; leaks ALL over baby.
Ordered this cup, thinking it would be like the Munchkin stainless steel cups (which we love). First impressions: it's thin, easily dented, gets very cold (enough to hurt baby's hands). We used the cup, and it doesn't seal. It dumps the liquid out as soon as the cup is tipped - baby can shake it upside and empty the cup. Baby can tip the cup to take a drink, and it dumps all over them. We tried taking the cup apart, washing everything, made sure the nipple was in the proper place, placed the handle in the proper spot, and screwed the lid down as tightly as it would go - still leaks. Even removing the handle and using the cup with just the lid and the nipple, it still doesn't seal well. A lot of money for a worthless cup. Do. Not. Buy.

Not for toddlers
I like this cup. I own two of them. It’s not really good for a toddler or anyone who is goi no to drop it. The cup seems durable to take the beating, but it leaks!!! Every time it isn’t upright the cup leaks. Spills is a better word than leaks - I will have a flood on the floor. With a toddler who drops it all the time, it’s not ideal to have a massive spill every time the cup falls over. I put it in my diaper bag & I had a pool of water when it ripped over. Need to make the design spill proof, or it’s best for older kids. I wanted the metal and silicone components. The straw parts are a bit challenging to get clean, just due to the size, but the wide mouth on the cup makes it very easy to clean.

This one is definitely worth buying!!!
Not sure why this bottle doesn't have 5 stars. My baby absolutely loves this sippy cup!!! The nipple is a unique shape that is the perfect transition from bottle to sippy cup and fits in baby's mouth so well. We have not had an issues with leaks and will definitely be buying a few more to have on hand. I also love that we can continue using this bottle and transition to the straw top once she's a little older. Thank you thinkbaby for creating such a great product in a non-plastic version!

Leaks like a seive - impossible to close
The positive: Cool idea, and had some good recommendations from other websites. Probably safe materials. I chose it specifically as a "bottle transition" because it has a soft spout almost like a bottle nipple, but still safer materials than most sippies. Basically the only option of this type. The unlivable: the plastic screw on top does not seal properly with the metal bottom. It leaks 75% of the time even when I'm SUPER careful to thread it just so. Basically, it's useless. I've been telling myself for 6 months that it's ok, I just have to put it on right. But when my kid is constantly wet and I have to spend 5 minutes getting it on right and it STILL doesn't seal, it's a piece of crap. I'd return it if I could.

Nice Sippy overall They can definitely improve the plastic used. It needs great precision to close the bottle or it leaks
