Nice and easy
Mentions 'painted' but hydrodipped. Mine was very clean, carbon effect lines good. As far as installation, warm soapy water to clean surfaces of tail and spoiler, dry off. Apply tape within edge as guide and seat over existing tail & CHMSL.

Perfect fit for 2007 corvette C6 convertible!
This one piece 'no drill' rear deck spoiler fits the curves above the 3rd brake light perfectly with no gaps. This piece is well made, firm, and has a reliable attachment with the provided adhesive tape. The carbon fiber pattern is uniform & looks good upon close inspection. The pictures don't show the details to make a confident decision for purchase but I can confirm it will fit a 2007 corvette C6 convertible base model right out of the box with no modifications required.

Nice upgrade. Good value
Rear center brake light. Comes with instructions. You can choose to have the brake light flicker repeatedly before a steady light when braking, or it can work like a normal brake light. Installation relatively easy. Just have to remove the center tail lights to access the center brake light. You will also need to remove the old light from the bracket/ mini spoiler and replace with the new light. Would rate a 7-8 out of 10 for ease to install. The picture shows the brake light but installed a rear spoiler that is covering the mini spoiler.

Bought two of these. Both peeling in less than a year..
My wife and I each other two of these spoilers for our C6 Corvettes. Looked great at first. But within a few months the fake carbon fiber finish started peeling off. Looks absolutely terrible and we regret buying these. Our only options are to take them off and sand down the original finish so that we can either paint them or wrap them. Removing these isn't easy either. The double sided tape it comes with is pathetic. And even if you use stronger mounting tape it will still lift up on the edges. At least mine does on the driver side. My wife's is lucky apparently and has managed to stay down so far. Mine unfortunately doesn't. If you get this spoiler, I would recommend having it painted or wrapped before installing it. Would probably be a good idea to sand the fake carbon fiber finish off first. There's a chance that if you paint or wrap it, it will still end up coming off over time when the original finish starts deteriorating underneath.

Plan on buying "Automotive Goop" for a real bond
It doesn't screw on. This comes with double sided tape which is questionable. It might come off at >100mph, so I only used some long the edges to keep debris out, and to keep it in place while my real adhesive dried. The best adhesive for something like this would be automotive or marine type "Goop" which is easy to find at Walmart and or parts stores. I run slicks right now, so I'll loose traction around 90mph or so depending on throttle and road quality. That is, until I installed this and now it's easy to notice a big difference. Be sure you line it up by angling the item to the rear 45 degrees holding it to straddle the center reflector perfectly. From there, slide you hands apart to carefully fold it down forward so the tape wont need to be ripped off (if you can even do that, it's strong) If you screw it up, you might try dental floss or fishing line to saw the tape off but follow my method and you'll get it right the first time like I did. The center bottom of this spoiler has some play, so it wont good to put tape where you can't press it hard down I figure. That's why it's ideal to use 2 rows of tape front, one back, and go with 4 big dobs of Goop in the middle on each side after you clean the surface well with rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol from the paint store if you're really picky.

C6 Corvette rear spoiler
WOW! An amazing fit! Dropped right on the car without any twists or gaps to adjust for. Very happy and the carbon fiber look is outstanding. Great piece at a great price! Fits the wider Z06 stock spoiler without any adjustments.

Spray it with clear coat
It is really nice spoiler the carbon fiber looks real it's very light so it ain't going to pull off once you taped it on I did get 3M tape because everybody said the other stuff is junk one thing I seen people saying that it wears off if you drive a lot with it I clear coat it mine with Auto body clear coat two coat to two coats of that I don't so I don't see the problem with anything coming apart I mean I mean wearing off it's very nice I like it it's better than the $400 ones just as good I have a 2008 4lt Corvette
