Excellent Value
The screen arrived in a long flat box. It was well packaged. All hardware comes in a small plastic bag attached to a corner. Give yourself plenty of room to open the box and to work with the screen panels. Each panel is in a separate plastic bag and each end has padding to keep them from rubbing against each other. Each panel comes with the fabric in place, so all you have to do to assemble it is line up the panels, put in and tighten the bolts, and put the little plastic caps on the legs and the tops of the screens. Really easy stuff. They even provide a little open wrench and allen wrench for you. No additional tools required. The fabric is a simple natural muslin. It matches my decor well. If I want to change out the fabric, which I may do someday, it looks pretty easy. I should only have to unscrew the bars that hold the fabric in place to remove the old fabric. I could then use it to measure out what I need to sew up for new panels. Once they're finished, I could slide the new panels into place and reinstall the screws. As it is, the muslin is very well sewn. All edges are finished and even. The muslin is gathered a bit to give it a nice look. The matte finish on the black metal looks very nice. The welds look unobtrusive but sturdy. As for the little ball-shaped end caps on the tops of the panels, I only wish they were metal instead of plastic, but that's pretty minor. The screen folds to just a little tighter than a 45 degree angle at each hinge. It won't fold flat, but if you need to flatten it for moving, you can just undo the bolts. The screen is sturdy. The little hint of wobble we do get is only because it's on really plush padded carpet. It's perfectly stable on a harder surface. I'm not afraid of my cats knocking it over. It has just enough heft to it that I don't think the cats will be a problem. I think it's about 15 pounds total, maybe, so I don't have a problem moving it around. I'm very happy with this screen. For the price, I feel I got an excellent value.

Good Price, Good Product, Tools Included
(1) It shipped, within 2 day no less, to FAIRBANKS freaking-ALASKA for FREE! Thank you Amazon Prime, you are worth every penny. Mega mega brownie points to Amazon!!! The closest thing I could find to room screen here in town was $200 for a plain particle board constructed one. (2) Very classy appearance, it serves it purpose to divide our bedroom so my vanity/dressing (aka pile of discarded outfits) are hidden. (3) Easy to put together and included a very cute miniature wrench and allen wrench should you, the hapless young lady buying it, not have tools or better yet a man to put it together for you (JK! I'm a feminist and an engineer no less). That said, I've put together furniture without tools late at night in my single days and can truly appreciate the classy touch of the tools being included. (4) Quality is outstanding, the ivory fabric is a good upholstery quality and the iron frame is solid and well made.

Pretty fair room divider for the price!
I have thought and thought and buying this, I really needed a new room divider. The cats made mincemeat out of my shoji screens. I read probably every single rating, all the questions, and finally decided to go for it. So here is what I think: This is a very, very light item. It was much heavier in the box as the cardboard it was shipped in was pretty sturdy. I am fairly small and I was easily able to put it together even though it towers over me. That being said, I am going to figure out how to weight the feet so it sits more securely on the floor. The feet are just little plastic feet that stick on so it should be pretty easy. Mine is sitting on wood floor, if you want it to sit on carpet I suggest getting the little slides with nubs on the bottom meant to sit on carpet, weight the feet of the screen somehow, and sit it on the slides. The fabric is fairly simple, like a better grade of muslin. It's good enough but if you are handy with a needle and thread or a glue gun, you could easily replace the fabric with something else if you wanted to. Someone else asked about storing their broach collection pinned to it, yes you could do that. Just cut out a piece of fabric facing to go on the back of the fabric for added stability. Metal frame is pretty light but the whole thing from a short distance looks pretty nice. This goes together by screws dropping through holders and if you don't screw it together super tight you should be able to take it apart and rearrange it pretty easily. Or to store flat. You don't have to use all 4 panels, either. As for how well this might hide something, it works pretty well for me and I have hiding a big mess of stuff I am sorting through. Yes, you can see underneath it and you can see past the panels but it doesn't bother me for my purposes. I would definitely be careful about having this around small children and pets as it is light, as I said, and could fall over easily. But if you weight the feet somehow I think it should be fine. Or even connect it to the wall with a hook, which is something else I am considering doing. So if you are considering buying this, I say go for it! Especially if you are handy enough to modify it a little.
