Ardell Deluxe Pack Lash, 110

Like many of the other reviewers, this was my first pair of false lashes. I have been contemplating getting lash extensions just to have a somewhat 'done up' appearance without any effort while I am on maternity leave with a new baby. But, to justify the initial cost of extensions, I wanted to try false lashes at home first to get an idea of the overall look. The Ardell Duluxe Pack was inexpensive, had all the parts you would need to jump in, and of course had great reviews. So, I ordered these and love them! The instructions are simple, straightforward, and application is fairly easy. For me personally, I did not have to cut any length off and they fit perfectly on my lash line. The adhesive was strong enough to last all day (6am-10pm), but delicate enough that it was easy to remove the lashes at night. The adhesive is also easy to remove, and I simply pulled the old glue off from the band before washing gently to remove any of the makeup residue on the lashes. Overall, I forgot to apply mascara on one occasion when I was wearing these and you really couldn't notice. These still helped my eyes to look 'made up' but without being dramatic and fake looking. My husband commented that he may not have noticed if I didn't mention it to him... he just thought it was mascara. And as far as getting lash extensions done as a result of my 'experimenting' with these... I have to say, I think I'd prefer to save myself the money and just use falsies like these. I can apply quickly without much hassle, so I guess a new momma wanting to look good can still have that option while keeping money in the pocket book. I'd recommend this for nearly everyday/all occasion type of use and it is great for even the most novice users. If you want an over the top 'Kardashian' type of look though, I'd suggest other more dramatic falsies. UPDATE: Although a novice at falsies, I tweaked my approach to application and found they will be a bit more dramatic looking if applied lower and curled/turned upwards when applying to lash line. So, these can be glammed up for a night out as well as everyday application! Great product!

I am nearing 40 and, have never (only once) successfully applied eyelashes. The ONE time I did, they were a pair of e.l.f. several years ago and it was awful. That set took me hours to try and put on, and they popped off my face in seconds. So. I did some research and looking around, some googling and youtubing for a pair of falsies that were "noob" or beginner friendly, and these popped up. They arrived in the packaging as shown in the picture, no damages. I'd never used a set of tweezers specifically made for eyelash application before, like the ones shown and THAT made ALL the difference. 1.) Using the tweezers made applying them a breeze. Literally just hold, apply glue, wait for glue to get tacky, gently rest the middle on the middle of eyelid...Press back and down. 2.) The little pink plastic nib was a life saver for the inner and outer corners, which were always the hardest for me to get to STICK. I could use it no problem to gently press the corners down and have the glue take to the lashes, but NOT the little pink nib end. 3.) I didn't need to trim these! They fit the length of my eye perfectly. Pros: They ARE beginner friendly. The tweezers were a godsend The glue works They didn't need to be trimmed They didn't LOOK false Cons: They were a little difficult to gently peel and remove from the mold/plastic part they were attached to in the package.

I loved these lashes, as they are great for a first time flash lash wearer: they come with easy tweezers and the glue is very forgiving. They look very real: nice naturally long length to them, good volume. Most importantly, they are not heavy at all; I wore them all day (10 hours).

This is my first time applying strip lashes...And I must say that I believe that I did pretty good. 👍🏾 I love the length, plus they're not outrageous looking. I purchased another glue to use, so I can't speak about the effectiveness of the glue that came with the kit. I plan on ordering more of these lashes in the future. The lashes are not heavy on my eyes at all. Go ahead and order these. They're definitely beginner friendly. 🤗😊😃

Too small for big eyes. Since my eyes are on the bigger side they looked ridiculous on me as the thick lashes ended well before my inner corner creating an obvious line where the ardell lashes began. If you're having trouble figuring out if these are right for you think of it in celebrity terms: if you have eyes like Amanda Seyfried, or Mila Kunis - these will NOT work on you. But if you have eyes more like Jennifer Lawrence or Selena Gomez then they will look great. They were good quality lashes imo and the package came with the applicator and glue so I believe this product deserves three stars. The seller should really include the length of the lashes or simply say it's for small/medium eyes.

After buying so many lash extensions this is the best and easiest to apply and stays glued on to your lashes Highly Reccomend!

I have naturally long, dark lashes, but sometimes you need a little something extra to elevate your look. I bought these to wear for my engagement photos. I don't wear lashes normally, so I was a bit nervous about applying them and about how they would feel once on. I've tried other lashes in the past that looked great, but felt really heavy and uncomfortable on my eyelids. These were perfect for me. I didn't have to trim the lashes at all, and the little applicator made them simple to put on. The curve in the applicator helped me get the lashes close to my natural lash line and the back of the applicator was perfect to push down the bits that weren't as close as I liked. Pinching the lashes together with my natural lashes really helped. Don't get me wrong--I still struggled a little because I'm new to this--but they were much easier to apply than the other lashes I tried in the past. They were light and comfortable enough to wear all day. And best of all, they weren't over-the-top, just enough to give me a little oomph. The next time I need lashes, I'm reaching for these!

I am a false lash newbie, and if you are too (and want a natural look) these are the lashes for you. For whatever reason, I lost all but a few eyelashes on my left eye over the last couple of months. I kept finding lashes on my mascara wand, stuck on my eyelash curler, etc. until all but a clump at the outer edge of my eye remained. I know, what?! Freaked me out. So I sought advice from the cosmetologist at my hair salon and she recommended these. I watched a LOT, I mean a LOT, of YouTube tutorials and went for it. After some trial and error, I find the most natural look is to NOT put mascara on these. You don’t need it unless you’re seeking more glam, which I’m not. I’m too old, glam days gone. But I’m so glad I gave these a try. The applicator tool is helpful, especially to “nudge” them into place and clamp them to your natural lashes (well, the ones I have on my right eye). I can see myself continuing to wear them even after (or if) my natural lashes return.
