Paddywax Apothecary Collection Scented Travel Tin Candle, 2-Ounce, Vetiver & Cardamom

I love this candle company but when I got this candle, it was inside a box that could have been shipped to me the way it was with just a label stuck on it. INSTEAD, it was placed into a box more than DOUBLE ITS SIZE with packing thrown in to a whole half of the box and then the box placed in there and shipped. This candle is all of 2" in diameter, (about) and was placed inside a box four times its size and then that one placed in a box almost 4 times the size of that one!!!! BOOOOOO!!! I cannot support products through Amazon or otherwise if I encounter such a degree of WASTE! Not good at all for anyone!!!

I absolutely love this scented candle. It puts out a nice earthy smell that is different from your usual scented candles, but also not intrusive or cloying. My wife and son love the smell too. The candle burned nice and evenly, didn't burn too quickly, but also didn't last as long as I would have liked.I would love to buy one of the larger sizes, but they are just too expensive. $50 for a large candle? That's ridiculous. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but won't try to justify the price of the larger ones.

This candle smells so good!! I am super picky about smelly candles, usually I just burn beeswax because even paraffin bothers me. This candle is the best though! I keep one just hanging out in my car and sometimes I can smell it just right. LOVE THIS! Definitely worth trying, it smells how I want everything to smell all the time and doesn't ever bother mel.

It's a personal opinion, but I found the scent to be a bit to strong and pungent for my tastes. There are other Apothecary scents that I 100% love and buy frequently. So this less than 5-star rating is only in regard to scent.

If you expect to be able to get the label off — think again! I assumed Paddywax would use an adhesive that would allow you to take off the label, which on the 32-oz extends more than half-way around the jar, so you can't really even turn it to hide it, if you're so inclined. Maybe this is not a problem for most people, but I won't buy this particular candle again because of it.

The media could not be loaded.  So this candle is absolutely my favorite scent ever but I was watching tv just now and heard this loud crack. I couldnt figure out what the sound was and then I noticed this weird crack in the candle, it goes all the way around the jar. Candle was lit when it happened and no wax is leaking out and no glass went flying around which is good. Idk never seen this or heard of this happening before definitely weird.

I love the exotic Tobacco & Patchoili scent, and the pretty gold tin. It’s great for travel! It’s a smaller vessel than my other travel candles so it takes up less packing space. I use them at home too because I find the tins to be aesthetically nicer than the full size jars. I also like that when I blow out the tin, I can immediately put the lid back on so that the sooty smoke doesn’t escape into the house.

i had one of these before i got it from urban outfitters and the reviews were great. i know the name sounds so bizarre like who would like there house to smell like tobacco right? but it does not smell like that at all its like a woodsy musk. its not too powerful its like a soft perfume for men on urban outfitters the woman mostly left a review and they said it smelled really good so the females like it too. honestly this is my favorite candle give it a try its expensive but great.

I had been looking for another of the Paddywax scents but settled on this as the other was not available. I use the candles unlit to provide background scent in closets. I found this mixture of patchouli and tobacco was a bit too sweet for my taste but Paddywax candle quality is very good.

This candle smells absolutely amazing. Of all the candles I have smelled, this one is my favourite and I'v been buying it for 10 + years. Highly recommend.

Does not smell anywhere close to the one in the orange glass container. Thinking this is fake.

I love this product, I recently ordered three candles and have not been disappointed. This is a quality product which demonstrates value for money. The fragrance is divine. I wish they made a bigger version too

Smells great but is is a wide candle - one wick doesn’t burn all the wax meaning that there is a lot of wastage. Probably better with the smaller ones.
