KLEIN TOOLS VDV770-080 Scout Pro Series Carrying Case

Great fit for the Klein Tools. Case has strong zipper and is well made so will protect your tools while helping keep things organized. I didn't need the 'extra' room available [for optionally adding more plug-ins modules], so cut the divider which made room for my stripper tool as well. Nice to have everything organized and in one place.

I got this to give my testing kit better organization and this fit the bill perfectly. No cutting of the foam, it's pre-cut to glove level fit.

I had to take out my Exacto Knuef and go to town on the foam inside the case to make it fit a VDV500-123 Probe Pro Tracing probe as well as the VDV-501-851 Scout Pro 3.The case is decent and worth the money. But Klien Tools should create a different one that fits these two kits along with the crimper.For that reason I am giving it stars.Edit: bought the compact pass-thru modular crimper VDV226-005.More exacto knief modifications and still managed to fir everything in this case.I am happy with the end results.One issue with this case, the quality of the zipper is not good. The zipper handle gets stuck all the time.

I originally bought this for a cabling project, but found it very useful in day to day troubleshooting. I often use it with my probe, from my tone and probe kit. This device puts a better tone on the line and you can even change the way the tone sounds. It does everything it advertises. No complaints. Even the case is well made.

This is the best case to keep all tools in one place and safe. I modified the inner foam using a xacto blade and arranged all the tools without problems. Now everything is safe in one place and it looks super professional.

Perfect fit to hold my wire tester and keep from losing the little sensors.

Excellent case. Case seems very sturdy, and has a high quality feel to it. If you care about your device, this is the only way to protect it. I am not using all of the compartments for the Scout, but I did find other things that fit well and need to be protected. I have a Flir One Thermal camera that fits perfect in one of the compartments. Great case!
