12V System GSR 12V-35 Cordless Drill Driver (Without Battery/Charger)

Excellent upgrade from my trusty 9 year old Bosch 10.8v drill driver that still works fine. The old one has been a favourite of mine but decided to get a new one as I like it so much. It feels way more powerful even though it only has 5NM more than the older non-brushless version. It is also more compact and has a work light that stays on for a few seconds after the trigger is released which is something that frustrated me about the old one. Love it.

Purchased this and thought it was great, however I returned it as I noticed Bosch had a version with hammer action (GSB versions) and got that. Now regret returning this, as the bosch 12v hammer versions are useless as a hammer drill, and only good as drill drivers. This is more compact than the hammer version, and just as powerful. I have a lot of Dewalt 18v kit, but find myself using my bosch 12v kit for 80% of my drill/driver tasks, I. E. Fitting doors, kitchens, furniture assembly etc.

It works well and comes in handy all the time. I still need to pull out a proper hammer drill for big jobs, but it's great for screws and simple drilling. The head is a bit bulky, which makes it hard to use for tight fits, but there's an adapter you can get for that.

This new version of a popular Bosch Professional drill is shorter but more powerful due to a brushless motor. I have the FlexiClick version of the previous model and this one is definitely superior in terms of speed and power, plus it's lighter. Register it with Bosch to get a three-year warranty.

Great bit of kit, I'm well happy with it, all my tools are dewalt but I have a few of the bosch professional & they are really good, this is a little gem. There is another version which is half the price but less power & speed this one is Great

Have Bosch 12 v units already so just wanted the brushless drill unit. Surprised with the power, beating my old 18 v unit. Very neat to hold, good speed control and handy charge capacity indicator. Nice to have an accurate chuck at last even, 1.5 mm drill bit has very little discernible wander.

A lot better then 18v as this does the same job with a bit less power.

Have not used this drill enough to comment on battery life but this drill does everything I need.
