Nice and beautiful for costume party and larger then I thought. Did not have trouble with feathers like some said after one night. White went well with my red gown.

Thank goodness I brought a second fan to my son’s wedding. Because both my granddaughters kept trying to take this beautiful fan from me.The colors are stunning, it was easy to open, close, use.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect for my Bridgerton party! Lovely white, adorably small but still does a great job fanning. Wasn’t a ton of shedding either! It’s super soft and well made!

I (F) got this to add a touch of femininity (and a way to keep cool) to a cosplay that was so edgy that I was worried I'd intimidate people and felt I needed to soften it a bit (pun intended). When I took this fan out of the package, it was already VERY fluffy, but I took a hair dryer to it, and it became even more so. It's SOOOO soft and fluffy and I couldn't resist tickling my neck, face, and nose with it, and it gives a lovely tickle! It's hard to actually tickle yourself, but this did make me grin and feels really good! Very, very soft and gentle! It smells nice once it loses the plastic-y smell from the shipping envelope, too, and when I tickled my nose with it, it made me sneeze (hard to do!). A few tiny feather bits come off when fanning oneself with it (and at one point a large chunk of feather with the “stem” broke off during very intense fanning towards the end of the convention weekend), so if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, this is probably not the fan for you. But then again, it was rattling around in a convention bag for an entire weekend. I like that the sleeve it comes with isn't just one of those adhesive-closed disposable ones. It's like one of those Ziploc slider bags and worked well for protecting it in my convention bag, but I wish the slider was on the side so you didn't have to grab it by the feathers or put the fan in feathers-first and damage the feathers either way. But I didn't think that it would hold up to the shenanigans of a weekend pop culture con when I got it because the ribs are bendy and the fan overall seemed cheaply made at first (especially the rod that holds it together), but it pleasantly surprised me! It's also extra as heck and I got complements from my aspiring drag queen friend when I bumped into him at the con lol (he wasn’t in drag at the time). I washed it after the con because even the air at cons is germy, and it washed very well, but it took over two days to dry fully, even with a hairdryer, and multple blow-dryings to get it to fluff back up to its full potential. Overall 4 out of 5 stars because it held up well for the abuse it took, moves a decent amount of air, feels SUPER nice both in the sense that it feels VERY pleasant to the touch *and* the breeze it generates is heavenly when you’re sweating your backside off in a dark cloak in +80° F weather, and it’s extra as all get-out; but the feathers were shedding even right when I opened it for the first time, the protective sleeve could be better designed, and the rod that holds it together and the little “U” the tassel is attached to seem cheaply made.
