This product gave me burns around my eyes that resulted in excruciating pain, puffiness and redness for days. This product is an absolute scam and will destroy your skin with a single use. Not to mention that despite what the packaging says this product should not be used as a make up remover and most definitely needs to be rinsed off.

Garnier Micellar Water is a solid, no-nonsense cleanser that does exactly what it claims. It removes makeup, dirt, and oil efficiently without irritating the skin. The formula is lightweight, fragrance-free (in most versions), and doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy residue, which makes it suitable for daily use. One of its biggest strengths is convenience. You don’t need to rinse it off, and it works well for quick makeup removal, especially for light to medium makeup. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and doesn’t cause burning around the eyes, which is where many cleansers fail. That said, it’s not perfect. Heavy or waterproof makeup often requires multiple cotton pads or a second cleanser, so relying on it alone for a full glam removal isn’t ideal. Also, frequent use with cotton pads can cause slight friction, which isn’t great if you’re very acne-prone or have compromised skin. Overall, Garnier Micellar Water is a reliable, affordable option for everyday cleansing or as a first step in a double-cleanse routine. It’s practical, effective, and easy to find—but don’t expect miracles beyond gentle cleansing and basic makeup removal.

I got this micellar water for a 12-year-old who is learning a bedtime skin care routine. I wanted to keep it simple and have it not be necessary to rinse. This fits the bill nicely. She likes the fresh scent, which is not overpowering. It is gentle on her skin, and she has not had any reaction. I like that it is clear in color and effective at cleaning her skin. We have not had any problem with leaking.

Staple product. If you are still using make up wipes, please, please, please make the switch to Micellar water! So much more gentle and effective. Doesn’t dry out my skin and although this is not the waterproof one, it takes my waterproof makeup off too. I have ordered multiple times from Amazon and have never had any issues with leaking or the top breaking.
