The 2.6 is referring to the shrunk down diameter of the heat shrink, it works great for most applications but I would prefer the 2.5 more for what I use everyday. Non the less good product. I would recommend either this one or the 2.5

Correct size and amount was sent. Well packaged. Shrinks easily, evenly down to about 1.8mm, was able to shrink in micro oven and using micro torch.
