These tart and tasty little French cornichons are perfectly addictive. I am not sure what the "spirit vinegar" they are in is made of, but the result is intense flavor and plenty of crunch. Tiny white onions and mustard seeds are part of the mix. Perfect with a contrast flavor like pate or a few just as they are. The juice would be a perfect splash in a martini or for a quick pickle with carrots or cucumber or whatever you have. I have had some other cornichon makers over the years that are largely forgettable. The Maille crunchy and zesty recipe is part of the pickle world dream team.

Just tart enough, fantastic crunch. I’ve loved the Trader Joes cornichons for years, but I don’t live near one currently. These are just as good, slightly different flavor. Keep the juice from the empty bottle for a fantastic dressing or add tartness to your food. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Taste just like Europe! My husband is from France and it’s difficult to bring pickles back, taking up space in our bags. Found these and the price is good. The quality is top notch! Taste just like your visiting Europe

These Maille gherkins are so delicious. Now I am hooked and don't want to go back to the regular ones in the store. Just outstanding flavor and crunch. Highly recommend. They do have tiny onions in the jar as well.

It was more sour than I was anticipating however not offensive. Th pickles were perfect and petite for the event in which they were used. I received many compliments and questions on where I found such a gem. I thought the price was a bit high for the amount that you got however all the compliments on the product made it worth the buy

Hubby asked me to buy gherkins. So I ordered these. He didn't specify that he wanted sweet gherkins. These pickles are not sweet; they're tart. (Product of France)
