DonJoy RocketSoc Ankle Support Brace

The instructions for sizing asked that you order by shoe size; which I did. The brace was more for a child or youth at the size ordered. A shoe size women's 7 was an X-Small. I could not get it to fit any way shape or form. Then I took it to my Ortho Surgeon, he looked at it and told me to return it and get a medium. So I have exchanged it for a size medium, but even the medium does not seem to be made correctly nor does it fit correctly. I will be sending the medium back and this time getting my money back. Sorry DonJoy, this is a poorly made product!

First, the product has helped my ankle heal, however, the instructions are initially confusing and frustrating. Secondly, the product very cheaply made. Strap A started to separate almost immediately, and the straps constantly have strips of thread coming loose. My podiatrist taught me a good technique for putting it on during my first visit that was much better than the written instructions, he was also not impressed with the quality when I showed him the problems with the straps after my second visit.

These are awesome - if you've not ever tried a DonJoy product, they are the best out there. Keep in mind the sizes are men's sizes (I purchased for my daughter) - the sizing chart image is right on target though - so be sure to check it before ordering. My daughter uses these for every basketball practice and game. She noticed a difference right away - when she forgot them one practice, she also noticed the fatigue in her ankles right away. My daughter likes them because they are bulky and they fit in her shoe nicely. They are fantastic, highly recommended!

Unbelievable quality and stability in this brace!! My son wore this his last football game of his senior year. Had a torn ligament in his ankle, supposedly out for 3 weeks. Bought this brace, braced him up and he played the whole game pain free with great ease and mobility !! I will swear by this brace !!

The best ankle braces I’ve used. They do reduce mobility, but that’s kind of the point, isn’t it. I used to sprain my ankle all the time forcing me to take time off from basketball. Since using these, if had similar potential injuries, but always been able to walk off the injury that wound have sidelined me for weeks.

These are the leaders of bracing with a sub par product. The spandex ripped with my patients first use and she was still not running or playing at her capacity. I went with a cheaper product and the patient was much happier

This product was recommended by a PT. Once the PT saw it and tried to help with adjusting it on the ankle, it was deemed useless. It has no support stays, the straps do not figure 8 around the ankle. The directions offer information for a brace that looks nothing like what came out of the package. The label to the company also started falling off immediately , it’s a waste of money.
