United States Quarters Collector's Folder 1999-2009: Denver & Philadelphia Mints

We received the item in just a few days. The price was right, the slots are well marked, and it was easy for my 11 year old son to slip the quarters into their places. Once they're in they stay put. The folder is attractive, sturdy, and compact and just the right size to fit on his bookshelf. There is a lot of additional information about the minting and manufacturing of the quarters on the inside flaps. I'm glad I bought this item and would recommend it to anyone who wants to collect the U.S. Quarters.

This is the second collection of State's Quarters I have done. This folder is perfect. The first collection was on a fancy large pictured folder. This is well made. Slots are right size (very important). This folder is for the more serious collector. I recommend the colorful, large folder for young children just getting started. It is a wonderful hobby. Coins are beautiful and educational. Art work of these little gems is outstanding. Don't pass this by. Invest the time and effort to learn about these great coins.

I have purchased this for my grandmother along with another similar to this one which was double in the price. I was super impressed with this particular one very well-made a lot of extra features I just really loved it I was really really impressed!

Pros: Good fit for the Quarters. It has slots for 50 P Quarters, 50 D Quarters and 6 new Quarters specified in the description. Also has EXTRA 6 (or so) Quarter slots. Cons: Once you fit a Quarter in the slot, it is practically impossible to take it out without using some kind of surgeon's tool or tearing the holder apart. In addition, you can see only ONE side of the Quarter once it is in the slot. There's no way to tell if you have a Denver Quarter in the Philadelphia slot (the slots are labeled) or a Philadelphia Quarter in the Denver slot. As mentioned earlier, good luck with taking them out to verify. Hope this helps!

This coin book is sturdy and attractive. It was EASY, unlike many other books, to push in the quarters. It appears that they are held very securely. I did have to remove and replace a few coins and this was relatively easy and the new quarters held securely. This book contains space for both D and P mints for state as well as territory quarters AND has room for extra coins. My 9 and 14 year old grandchildren were able to easily put coins in this book. I would highly recommend it after struggling with books that were VERY difficult to impossible to get the coins to snap in.

I purchased three of these and I've inserted the coins. (I'm not posting pictures because another reviewer has done that.) The coins slide in without much effort and are snug and deep. One down side: very difficult to take out a coin. Because of the thickness of the cardboard of the album, you can't just push on the reverse side of the coin to pop it out. Basically, once its inserted it stays! Once all coins are inserted the album is quite heavy. However, that is no problem because of the thickness of the cardboard used for construction. No difficulty opening or handling the album. The front and back of the album are colorful and patriotic. I'm very pleased with this album and I think you will be too.

I've tried a lot of coin folders from different companies like Whitman, Warman's, Harris, Littleton. This book by Sterling is the best quarter folder I've ever had!! You don't need anything but your fingers to press the coins in and they fit nice and snug. The book has four coin pages. The first 3 have 30 openings each for P and D. The last page has 22 opening for the remaining states and territories plus 8 unlabeled openings. Nice history and minting procedure on the flaps.. Overall a great coin folder for your state quarters!! Sterling now also has a new coin folder for the National Park quarters which will be minted for the next 10 years. No doubt just as nice as this one!!

I had a lot of state quarters and didn't have anything to store them in. I seen this album and bought it. It is just about full, I am still looking for some Philadelphia mints I have found yet.

was difficult choosing this folder as there was so much choice but after doing a little research into the coins and other folders decided this one was the best one as others had stated they were tricky getting the coins inserted. this one is great and well made.

I have been collecting American quarters for three years but they just lay around in bags. Now I have all the states from at least one of the Mints and the collection is at least neat!
