My daughter is one of five girls living in a two-bedroom apartment in Washington, DC as a last-minute solution caused by COVID-related housing issues on campus. Space is at a premium, but it's also important to have a place of your own to sit down to do work when you can't get out of the apartment, especially with the cold winter months approaching. I was looking for something that didn't take up a lot of room, didn't require assembly (I saw my daughter's and her roommates' assembly skills when they moved in and wasn't impressed), and would be easy to transport to and from college for the next four years. This desk checked all of those boxes. It's basically assembled already - I think she had to put little feet on the bottom of the legs when she unboxed and fold the legs into place and the desk was ready to go. It's easy to fold down in case they need the space when having people over and it provides enough room for her laptop, notebook, coffee...all her essentials. She's super happy with it, which makes me super happy with it. The price can't be beat, either. A great desk for a great price.
