RimmelGlam' Eyes HD Quad Eye Shadow Palette, Heart of Gold, .14 oz

This is the best Rimmel shadow by far and always has been! It's the best eyeshadow I've used for color, for smooth application, for all day durability, even resistance to rain.Luv, luv, luv it.

• The colors are gorgeous (for this particular palette and hazel eyes anyway). Nicely pigmented.But-• The way it's laid out is incredibly annoying - the brow highlight colors are a pain to access because they are in multiple tiny little triangles. (The narrow strips of crease color aren't as annoying, since I'm using a thin brush for it).• It does not ship well. It came in crumbled pieces and a mess everywhere. The softer texture allowed me to press much of the larger pieces back into place, but it also makes it crumbly in transport. I added a piece of tissue on top to hold the powder snugly in place, but doubt it is purse friendly. And I would expect it to not make it in 1 piece unless the shipper both uses bubble wrap AND shrinkwraps it to cardboard.• I can't fully judge the lasting power (I use it to accent over their gold eyeshadow stick which is nearly budge-proof) to accent and increase the lasting power even further).I would probably not order it again, especially via mail; but would very much love to find these same colors and pigment level in a local (or sturdier) compact with a better layout.UPDATE: bought this again (it really is the most perfect flattering gold for my eyes). Came in 1 piece this time. +1 star. (layout of highlight colors still annoying though).

I then became so dissapointed... it seems as though the eyeshadow palette was sent broken to me, because the packaging was alright. Aside from the fact that it got here three days late. I wondered if there was something that could be done. I suppose that was my bad luck though. The eyeshadow is not very pigmented.. its kind of just shimmer.. i have now ordered the loreal infalliable in gold hopefully that one is better :( good luck in your purchases.

This eyeshadow is so pretty! It shows up very well and I get a lot of compliments on how cute it is.

Rimmel makes awesome eyeshadow and its inexpensive looks great on brown skin
