Merrell Women's Hollyleaf Sandal

Great sandal , fits perfect and looks very stylish. Good for various terrain. Solid. My only complaint is that I paid 10 dollars more by ordering on Amazon. I was so happy with this order that I went to check out the sellers website which was on the shoe box - Peltzshoes.com. Well, I discovered that the very same exact sandal color and size and free shipping was 49 instead of 59. I thought originally that 59 was a bit steep but I knew Merrill would be a good choice. I don't feel like returning them and reordering for the ten dollar difference, since I am leaving on a trip and they arrived later than the delivery date. Just a heads up shop around - Amazon is not necessarily the cheapest option.

I am so mad that Merrell discontinued this style! I bought a pair about a year ago and wore them daily around the house and out running errands most days. Before I bought them I had been having some foot pain and it stopped after I got these shoes.The shoe was a little tight at first but didn't take long to stretch to my foot. The microfiber foot bed is soft and comfortable and does not make my feet sweat like almost all plastic foot bed shoes do. I washed them several times and they always came out looking fantastic after washing. Once while out running errands in the rain, the shoes got soaking wet. I was so upset thinking I would have to live with swamp foot while I was out all day long, but the shoes dried in almost no time at all. I'm not crazy about the braided strap--it cut into my foot a little in the beginning, but after a while I got used to it and it didn't bother me. It does add a nice accent to the shoes.After about a year wearing these, my foot pain returned... looking at the soles, I could tell they were broken down and needing replacement. When I went to buy a replacement, I was so sad to find that this style has been discontinued. I was not able to get my size at a reasonable price through Amazon, so I tried the suggested replacement--Merrell's new Terran style. Unfortunately, that style was not nearly as supportive. The sole is much thinner compared to these. They didn't fit me as well as the Hollyleaf style and I had to return them. I am now wearing the Mimix style as a replacement for these, but I really wish Merrell would bring back the Hollyleaf style.

I LOVE my Merrell Hollyleaf sandals! I have purchased four pairs over the past several years. I have plantar fachiitis and heel spurs and have great difficulty finding comfortable shoes. These sandals are my "go to" sandals, they are the most comfortable, supportive sandals I've ever worn. I have multiple pairs and wear some as outside the house and some for inside the house only. I wear them summer and winter. In winter I only wear them as inside shoes/slippers although I wear them outside the rest of the year. I love, love, love these sandals! I only hope Merrell keeps making this style and this footbed.

I LOVE these sandals I was told Merrell didnt make them anymore. I have plantar fasciitis and these sandals are wonderful my feet do NOT hurt as bad... the are so versatile that they go with dress pants, shorts, jeans...... as long as these are being made this will be the only ones I buy... I have had mine for about 7 to 8 years but as most shoes they do need to be replaced, But these are so well made...... Quality control, folks!! Merrell should be paying much closer attention. the cute little strap that goes on the side of the foot is a totally different length on both shoes. One shoe, it's the correct length, but the other shoe, it's far too long, so it bulges up away from my foot. It looks really stupid. Also, this sandal runs short, at least for me. I am returning them. And I will never buy on Amazon when it isn't Prime ever again because I have to pay for my own shipping to return these. What a waste!!!!

I want to be clear that I love the Merrell Hollyleaf Sandal, and own three of them. The last one I ordered was just about 7 months ago, from Amazon. I decided I needed a spare and ordered another one last week - same color, same size. It's one full size shorter than the previous one! Also a bit looser around the top of the foot, so it's not an 8 that's been mis-labeled a 9. Must be a quality control problem. Oh well, back it goes. Sad.

I heard these were discontinued, so I bought all they had in my size. As a person with an ugly bunion on one foot, but who is also a shoe lover, I try to find cute things that will cover the deformity up. I live in a hot climate, so sandals and flip flops are a must.These are cool and comfortable, no breaking in period, no blisters or scratches. They don’t make that flip slip sound. They are tough-I bought my first pair for Hawaii and it was all I needed. I went on the beach, got them wet, climbed rocks, back to the sand, had them by the pool, and they are still in great condition over a year later.They’re stylish as a shoe like this can be. The string gives it a bit of character and certainly, can be worn with shorts, a midi shirt, or caftan.The best part about these Merrell’s is they cover the bunion and my foot looks almost normal, yet they are still super casual. .(Some people think these have corrective powers-they don’t.) But they have the powers of invisibility. The only negative is they have been discontinued. Their replacement shoe is also cute but looks cheaper and my understanding it doesn’t have the thick memory foam bottom. At some point, I’ll need to buy some but for now, I’m sticking with what my feet know. My days of aching feet are long over! I have them blue, tan and black. If I could find a bright color in my size I’d be set!Hope you like as much as me.

This is a pretty sandal, but comes up small. I haven't had much luck ordering shoes online and always read the reviews, which I did in this case, but I found the statement from one reviewer that they cover bunions was not true for me. Very disappointed that there was only about an inch of material in the bunion area and this affected the look and comfort. Had to return the shoes.

It's a little embarrassing to admit that I LIVE in these sandals all summer long. They go with everything from shorts to dresses and they are blissfully comfortable thanks to an almost trainer-like sole. The only downside is that you have to put them away in winter (unless like me you wear them around the house instead of slippers!). LOVE THEM!

I had this make of sandals recommended and couldn't believe how comfortable these are. They go on holiday every year where they get some real hammer and never take my skin off my toes, unlike sandals in the past.I would have liked them in other colours, but they are only available in red and brown, which is a shame.Ten out of ten for comfort and durability!

these sandals are very comfortable and are helping me with a particular problem i have been experiencing lately. The service I received was prompt. I will buy Merrell shoes again. These are my third pair to date.

I wanted a pair of sandals which were everyday wear and I ended up wearing these the whole holiday they were that comfortable!

I've just received these and at the first glance and feel I'm very very impressed. They fit and feel very much like my custom made orthotics minus 10 times the cost.The support of the arch is great, no pressure on the toes or heel at all, I've been on feet all day today and while I was wearing them I didn't feel any feet fatigue at all. Took them off and could see the huge difference they make.Fit nice and snug. I'm between 7.5 and 8 (usually 8 would feel a tiny bit larger than I need, but 7.5 would be almost uncomfortably tight) and I ordered an 8 - it fits as if was made for my feet specifically. No extra room but not tight in any way. Just right, what you need for great support, they feel as if you were wearing a shoe not a flip flop.I hope this initial feel doesn't fade away with time.

Have had Merrill in the past, taupe and Bering blue; but I think my blues got lost in a hotel. Every summer I live in my Merrell sandals. I could not seem to buy them locally - especially in the blue and so was very happy to see them on amazon. Another perfect sandal - full of comfort and just the right amount of support - actually quite light in weight as well and so good for a carry on bag. Thanks Merrell.

My first pair lasted for three summers and Service I burned them out... these are my 2nd pair and I'm still in love with these. They support my instep and have excellent grip soles. I recommend this to anyone considering this sandal. They are expensive but you get what you pay for and these are worth it!! Your feet will love you for it.. Happy feet, happy life!!

Love this model of Merrels but they’re getting harder to find. I would appreciate more variety in colours and half sizes. I have purchased several pairs over the years and size 8 has become smaller and 9 is a little too large. But I kept them anyway, just too loose to walk very far, whereas have walked several miles in the oldest of these. The Terra model looks similar but is much poorer quality!

Love these Merrell toe sandals. They are the only toe sandals that I have found that do not chafe or actually blister the area between my toes. They have a good solid foot bed and good arch support. I can comfortably wear them all day.

I usually love Merrell shoes but these were far too tight. I even double checked the size after I tried them on as they were so tight. I ended up giving them away after I wore them for 2 weeks trying to stretch them out to no avail.

So comfortable.. I hope they never stop making these.. this is my second pair.. first pair lasted me a few years and just starting to get worn.. I am hard on shoes.. love them!

I love these Sandles , very comfortable , and still look good. This is the fourth pair I bought .

Disappointing that they are only for a very wide food. I had to return them, they are a beautiful shoe. I wish they came in a normal width.
