Good Product, Good Price, Small Pill
Easy to swallow softgel pill. Nutrigold products are manufactured to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). I look for supplements which are manufactured to USP (U.S. Pharmacopeial) standards. As it is hard to find supplements with the USP label, I look for the GMP label. I look forward to trying other Nutrigold products. Update: For those of you who received an offer with your order about a free product, I have attempted to redeem the offer. I am unable to find the "Contact Seller" button on my orders page. Update 2: I contacted Nutrigold about the free product. They responded in timely fashion and sent me my free product. I am impressed.

Good Stuff Guys...Helps with Insomnia!
I take 5 2000IU totaling 10,000IU per day of these vitamin D3 pills for 5 days. I'm on week 5 1/2 of 8 and have noticed better sleep. You don't want to stay up late. Only through "habit" will you remain awake and find something to do. If you let nature have its way, go to bed once you feel sleepy. This definitely has helped resolve the insomnia issue I was suffering with. My VA primary care doctor prescribed for me Vitamin D2 50,000IU once per "week" for 8 weeks. Through my own research, I discovered that D3 was the better of the two. Since I'd already purchased this brand prior to him prescribing the D2, I decided to simply increase the dosage of the D3 for 5 consecutive days totaling the 50,000IU and be off during the weekend. This has worked for me. I will complete the eight (8) weeks duration at this dosage, then have my vitamin D levels retested. I know I will be in the recommended healthy range by then as I can feel the difference already. Will be reordering for the maintenance dosage of 2,000IU to 4,000IU. Great product.

QUALITY D3 AT A GOOD PRICE
I am taking vitamin D3 instead of the GMO prescription drug prescribed to me by my doctor because D3 is a superior product and is all natural. Prescription medications are on the rise but they are laboratory created and are causing people to become sicker from the side effects. Vitamin D3 in a mini softgel is easy to swallow and Nutrigold is a brand name that you can trust to give you GMO free and preservative free product without harmful side effects of prescription drugs. I cannot tell you at this time if it is working but I can say that I am feeling better. The normal range for D in your body is 30 and my range was 9 at my testing a few weeks ago. I will have to report back in a few months and let you know if my range increased or not.

D3 IS NATURE'S REQUIRED HELPER
We used to spend many hours outside the home absorbing sunshine - and vitamin D. But today, we have smog, television, and computers; we spend too much time indoors. I had strange symptoms which I thought were the outset of sickness -and it turned out they were. Suddenly an emergency; off to the hospital where they tested me with every device available. However, after five days, just a standard diagnosis, prescription, and release. Then, a week later and back again. Finally, the last hour of my stay, a Woman doctor appeared. I had not seen her before. She looked at the computer and then asked me to tell her what were the symptoms I noticed. "Sounds like you may have a Vitamin D deficiency". Then home again. I ordered VITAMIN D3 GOLD. Truthfully, within the next few hours of taking it, I could feel myself getting better. And after a couple of weeks, no more symptoms. Even if we go outside, due to the smog, I think we can't get enough Vitamin D. VITAMIN D3 GOLD is the best deal and best product I could find. I still take it and I'm on my second bottle. I take 4 capsules daily.

It's too early to tell, but I will update this review in time (updated)
Updated - 5/11/2014 - I am still using this product, and have recently purchased more of it. My Vitamin D level continues to be well within the recommended range, per my most recent physical. Original review starts here: About three years ago, I had a vitamin D deficiency, which I did not know about until I asked the doctor to check the levels, as there were comments about most of America having this problem, due to the amount of sun the northern latitudes does not get, (especially in winter). So back then I started on 5,000 IU for six months, using a drug store brand name. I then switched to 2,000 IU as I didn't want to overdose. After another six months went by, I had another physical, and had it tested again. My level was now in the normal range. So everything was going good. But then I switched to a health food store, a brand name product (store & specific brand to be unnamed)... and took those for another year, and my vitamin D dropped to even lower than it had been before this all started. It seems they were selling a product with zero vitamin D in it. Now, I'm taking this product, the Vitamin D3 Gold, 2000 IU. I will be getting another blood test in about 2-3 months. I will then update this review with the new data, which will hopefully be really good. Update: It's now September and I had my physical last month. My vitamin D is well into the normal range now, so I can now attest that this product is indeed the one you should consider buying. And, be careful about buying from The Vitamin Shoppe... it was them that sold me the product that was totally worthless. And I contacted them about that fact, and got zero response, ergo I am naming them as the company that sold me something that did not do what I thought it should do.
