iReliev TENS + EMS Combination Unit Muscle Stimulator for Pain Relief & Arthritis & Muscle Strength with Backlit Display

This is a no brainer when it comes to soothing over doing it. The unit is small, easy to use, and quickly relieves muscle tightness. I strained a muscle causing my a pinching of my sciatic nerve. I tried many efforts to loosen the muscle and was literally unable to walk for about two weeks when I remembered having TENS treatments when I have ripped my hamstring years ago. I went on line, found the unit and it was amazing how quickly I got results. It will still take a couple of weeks to ensure it doesn't return. The unit is very high quality and American made. It's worth every penny spent at around $50.

I am very satisfied with this TENS unit. It has many different settings, and it is worth playing around with the different patterns and intensities of electrical signals to see which one feels best for you. I like the fact that it has both TENS and NMES settings. The NMES settings really will contract your muscles, which can be useful If physical rehab is needed. I have a chronic back pain condition, and this TENS unit really helps me to be able to do more activities than I would otherwise. I wouldn’t say it is helped in any healing, but it does help mask the pain so I can do more things that I need to do. The only drawback is the clip that allows you to attach it to clothing or your belt is not very secure. As a consequence, it has fallen on the floor many times. However, it is also sturdy enough that falling on the floor multiple times has not damaged it so far. I finally figured out that I just need to wear leggings that have a pocket, and then I can put the TENS unit in the pocket and the problem of it dropping goes away. Nevertheless, I am on my third TENS unit of this brand because I was so hard on the other two, when I kept dropping them on the floor. However, if this one breaks, I will buy another one because they are so useful for me and good value for the money.

Works and bit stronger than previous model

Connected this unit to the Irelieve Conductive Back Belt. Both work very well together. Simple set up. This unit is run by three small batteries that come with it. The unit controls TENS and EMS. Need to read instructions but you get used to it quickly. The back belt has shiny plastic pads built in and works fine with just the gel. I am big 6'3, 265 pound guy. It has low settings so comfortable for all but it has plenty of power. Several days into this now and I am only in the middle of the power band. There are different program modes, you can set the timer for how long. There is a cover on the unit that clips to whatever and prevents changing the settings. Much better than I expected. Much cheaper than the Slender tone options. Use on my TENS on my lower back and then use TENS for my stomach.

AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE!! I've wanted a portable TENS unit for a long time but was never able to fit it into my budget. Not only is the iReliev TENS unit affordable, but it's a tiny powerhouse of healing!! I lifted a heavy box, pulled my back, and wound up with excruciating sciatic nerve pain that ran down from my lower lumbar area, through the hip, down through the outside of my thigh, and through the knee. I went to the emergency room, but all they could do was offer pain killers and a muscle relaxer that not only didn't help the pain, but I hated feeling groggy. I went online and found this unit, read the reviews, ordered it, and it arrived two days later, as promised. Setting it up to use was very simple, and the controls were very intuitive and user friendly. Within 15 minutes of opening the box, I was giving myself a treatment. Amazingly, after my first 20 minute treatment I had COMPLETE RELIEF for the first time in days!! I've used the unit twice every day since then, and can't say enough good things about it. The self-adhesive large pads were perfect for my needs, and I love that it comes with 4 small pads, as well. The Quick Start Guide was invaluable and very, very simple to read and understand. I hate reading directions, but these were extremely well written and EASY. The unit was much smaller than I expected, weighs almost nothing, and could easily be tucked into a pocket or clipped onto a belt, if desired. The cords are amply long, which enabled me to use it while I was sitting at my computer. I was also very impressed that ExcelHealth emailed me the Quick Start instructions, but I had already received the unit since it arrived so quickly. Believe me, when you're in pain, you want relief FAST, and this little TENS unit was FABULOUS!! I love that it comes with everything you need: 3 triple A batteries; a set of 2 large, self-adhesive electrode pads; a set of 4 small, self-adhesive electrode pads; a removable belt clip; a convenient carry pouch, and the brilliant Quick Start guide. I later read the more extensive instruction manual and learned about the many different treatment modes for both TENS and EMS, and appreciated the pictorial diagrams showing how/where to place the electrode pads - although I simply put the pads where I was having pain, and it worked like a charm in providing relief. The unit is small enough and light enough to carry in your backpack or pocket as part of your first aid arsenal when hiking, camping, or being a weekend warrior. I will never again be without this wonderful little machine, and have no doubt I will use it again and again. I was so impressed, I actually emailed the product link to all of my friends. Order this unit with complete confidence - you won't be disappointed!!

I bought this one during one of those blitz deals! I LOVE those!!! Anyway this is a Christmas gift for a family member this year. (Why, yes, I AM one of those! Black Friday will mark the END of my holiday shopping!) I have used this for several years. I have osteoporosis and something going on with my muscles as every single one of them at some point will cramp up with charlie horse cramps (I do take calcium, vit. D., magnesium & potassium supplements--so far has not made one whit of difference). But this tiny TENS/EMS unit really helps a lot! I will use it on the areas that hurt the worse, start out with a low setting of 7 or 8 and build up to 17 or so during the day. I wish it had the ability to do more pads at once, but you can't have everything I guess! Their newer model that has just been released--can be RECHARGED which is definitely an improvement to consider! It also now has a screen that lights up. They are having specials on it now, if you are contemplating buying one. For the rest of my family who would use it more, I'm thinking of getting this newer model. Guess I better add it to my honey watch list, so I'll be alerted when there is a price drop! If you suffer from pain, you cannot go wrong with this iReliev unit. It is EXCELLENT!
