Squatty Potty The Original Toilet Stool - Bamboo Flip, 7" & 9" Height, Brown

Great quality, easy to put together unobtrusive design

The title may sound like hyperbole, but this stool has totally changed pooping for the better! Morning routine is a revelation, everything just happens, wish we'd bought it years ago! No more of the occasional straining, totally get why squat toilets are still very popular in Asian countries. The squatty potty is sturdy and generally well made - though one of the holes is a little misaligned. A bit disappointing it passed QC but not the end of the world. Minor issue aside we're glad we went for the bamboo one rather than the plastic, it looks really nice and feels much more pleasant on the feet than tiles in the morning! No problem taking my 100kg, and at 6ft the small height is enough for me and also great for my 5'4 partner. Honestly, buy one. You won't regret it. Unless you enjoy a good read on the loo, in which case this is going to ruin your fun.

Easy to build. Comfortable to use

Solid construction, quality bamboo wood, feels very stable underfoot. Very pleased with quality for the price. Looks more attractive than the plastic version and when placed on a light wood floor and tucked under the bowl of the toilet is very unobstrusive both visually and physically. Would have given 5 stars but you do have to construct it yourself (Allen key provided). Although this is not difficult to do I had expected it to come ready built.

I have just ordered a second one, same one, for the downstairs loo. I did have a white plastic one, horrible, cheap design and I stuffed it into a wardrobe and recently, tinto he bin. I am past rushing upstairs to the bathroom loo and tbh this version looks tidy. My loos are the lower types so 7" is fine. Try different positions for the squatty, I find it much easier if it is very close to the loo. Otherwise my backside gets pushed into the uncomfortable loo bowl. Good for 1s as well as 2s

If you're considering purchasing a Squatty Potty it's probably because you are having some problems. This was me a couple of months ago and whilst it wasn't a cure it has definitely helped. Initially, even for a 40 year old man, it was uncomfortable to use initially but I have quickly adapted and now I have no problems. It's solid and discreet and looks great in the bathroom. It's worth a try and hopefully it will help you like it did me.

I bought 2 plastic ones few years ago and then this one a few months ago and this is the best in terms of quality and ergonomics. The height is also better. Highly recommend this one.

Nice foot stool, shame about the fixings. The head of a screw sheared off (just using the supplied tool and not much pressure), and the heads were distorted just by doing them up.

I've bought and assembled three of these bamboo squatty pottys - two for me and then one as a gift. I love them, they look good, will help you do the best poos of your life, and afterwards tuck away so neatly against the toilet bowl. They were easy to put together for a complete novice like me, and actually kinda fun. I'm 51kg and put my whole weight on them while squatting over the dunny, and they feel completely safe and solid. I'm sure they could easily take more weight too, but I haven't asked anyone to test that out...
