vehicle-power-inverters Review: Great price for an inverter - To preface this review I'll mention that I'm the drone operator for a volunteer search and rescue group. Like any other group we can get called at any time. My goal was to be able to keep all my gear in the car and charging so I can get to a search with everything charged and ready to work. I tested it on my bench first to make sure I wasn't overloading the inverter before installing it into my car. For reference I have the following attached to it: -Power strip for additional AC power -Ham mobile radio charger -Aviation radio charger -Ipad -Powerbank to charge everything when away from car -Mavic Pro battery charger and controller charger -DJI Mini 2 battery charger and controller charger So while driving I charges everything and as been working great. I have a top to the container with holes in it for ventilation in case it gets too hot. So far everything is working fine with no issues. This is a great charger that can do a lot. I would recommend it for charging mobile equipment like radios, drones, and phones. Review: Works great and proper voltage under load/great buy! - I purchased two of these at a great sale price $25? 28? anyhow after reading review of another I verified that direct reading of voltage is only 96 volts----but--- I also do load tests for home electronics and know that static rating may not be the true picture so I grabbed my trusty Kill a watt meter and checked and under load it ramped up to 116.6-117.1 volts under load and actually was 4 watts more efficient than my home electrical as proven by my photos and yes I went back and tested again with a "30" watt rated item. The fan? I have some inverters that are so much louder and in fact this is my quietest one. The fan is needed for anything of higher loads to protect the inverter. The smell? Okay it was burning off some protective coating so I opened the windows and left it there to burn it off and it did within a few minutes. Coatings are put on to protect them against corrosion during shipping storage etc and w/o them you would have a chance of getting a corroded electronic. I could get into a more intense review but since I purchased these rather than sent to test let's just say this is the best buy I found for the wattage. Happy camper

Fantastic charger
I've purchased this car charger converter to use for a few years now and love it. I have not had any issues with it or noticed any issues with charging. Pros: - Quiet - my previous one (different brand) had an internal fan that kicks on when you're charging any devices which, became annoying to hear the entire time you're using it. If I didn't hear the fan, I knew it wasn't charging. - Light weight - Durable for long road trips when charging our phones and electric devices - USB ports Cons: - I wished it was even smaller and compacted - Would be nice to have ports on different sides so we can use it from different angles in the car. Overall, I would still purchase this again if mine ever goes out.

Doesn't get hot
When our family travels on the road, we normally use a dash cam, a radar detector and two phones. So, we used to just use a two port usb car charger to keep them running. But, recently we got a mini fridge for the road trip and determined that we needed more power. We didn't even know what to get, but we knew we needed something better that expanded the number of outlets and ports. We did a lot of research on amazon and decided on buying 300W Power Inverter. We read a lot of reviews of similar products from other sellers and the main concern we got was that the product would get very hot. The reasons we chose this particular product were better overall reviews and price point. After using this product heavily through our last road trip, we were very happy with how well the device performed. The device was actually cool for most of the time and charged our devices very fast. The only issue I would have is that the device is a bit noisy when it's running. Overall, I would recommend using this device! It was definitely an essential use during a long road trip.

Perfect light-duty inverter
I bought this to help power a bluetooth speaker for a roadtrip, and purposely waited until after the trip to rate it. After 800 miles and 2 weeks of usage, I can gladly say this is the perfect inverter for use cases such as mine. It was able to charge the speaker, a phone, and power a dashcam without issue or without getting hot. I did note, however, that the LED on the front panel stopped working halfway through my trip, but started working again a few days later. Odd, but doesn't impact function, and for $30, I really don't mind. If you don't need to power tools at a worksite, buy this inverter.

Keep everything charged
This inverter has just what we need. We needed to be able to charge two phones and my son's switch on the road in our pickup, and this fit the bill perfectly. It plugs in easily, and provides the power for us. After using this product, we were very happy with how well the device performed. The device was actually cool for most of the time and charged our devices very fast. Overall, I would recommend using this device! It was definitely an essential use during a long road trip.

Able to Power 39" TV (200W)
I got this inverter to power a large TV in the back of my car, running off just the car battery. After plugging everything in and turning this unit on it worked flawlessly. I had a DC ammeter measuring the power consumption on the DC side of the inverter and was reading values of ~200W. When the TV first turns on there is a peak power draw of 240W, and this inverter was able to still power it. The USB ports also work nicely, and were a nice touch to the inverter. All in all I think this inverter has great value for its low cost and I will keep it in my car indefinitely just in case I ever need to power something requiring AC voltage.
