BOSTITCH Brad Nailer Kit, 18GA, Smart Point, Pneumatic (BTFP12233)

Quality piece of kit - it has a slim nosepiece which helps to accurately place where you fire the nail. Comes with some spare soft tips and even has a built in pencil sharpener! If you appreciate good tools you won’t be disappointed. I’m really impressed with it.

You only have to show it the wood and it’s pinned only a tiny hole just perfection way better than any gas or battery powered gun at this gauge

Bought this from Amazon US as was much cheaper than the UK suppliers and only took 8 days to arrive. Bought to replace identical gun that has failed after 12 years when it developed an air leak and isn't cost effective to repair. Would have preferred the old gun to have lasted longer but I love the ergonomics of this design with its slim narrow frontage and precise brad firing point. In all the years I've had it I don't think it has jammed once and I use it professionally in my busy artist studio. Recommended.

As a DIYer I occasional use this Brad nailer. So far only positives. It is light, versatile and not missed a beat so far

Shame it doesn’t stop fighting when empty...

I was a bit nervous about buying relatively unpopular brand in UK. But knowing that in America it's quite common I took the plunge. So far I am very happy. Jamms far less than the Larger DeWalt I have. Recommended.

Quality product,fantastic braid nailer,small and light compared to the makita I used before. Works perfectly,flawless.adjustable depth stop , none making point,works with any 18guage Brad nails 15-50. I use this all day long and it’s never missed a beat,no miss fires,consistent nail depth with a nice clean small hole,easy to fill and sand,neat tidy finish. Always used makita before this which I thought were good but this is better and lighter+ it’s £25 cheaper than the makita,I’ll never go back 5 stars

I recently replaced a bunch of flooring in our house and needed to install about 250 feet of shoe mold. Instead of trying to nail all of that by hand I decided to purchase a brad nailer. After a lot of research and price comparisons I decided to purchase this Bostitch brad nailer. I couldn't have been happier. It worked flawlessly and made the job so much easier than nailing manually. It is a great value for the money given how easy and fast it made the job. I had planned to sell it when I was done but liked it so much I decided to keep it and have used it several times.

Fantastic Brad Nailer! I am a finish carpenter and am very pleased with this purchase, I have shot thousands of 2" nails with this gun now and it sinks them better than my friends $300 18GA Omer Brad Nailer. I let him use it for a couple hours and he said hes sold and will buy one of these as well. I don't understand how the price is this low for this gun, Bostitch has outdone themselves. Walmart junkers sell for more. The safety takes minimal effort to depress and the gun is very light. Sturdy carry case. Have yet to have a nail jam with this gun, very impressed. Although when one comes along (which would be fair enough to say will happen at some point) I am sure the tool-less jam release feature will quickly fix the issue. This smart point feature is dreamy when precision nailing and if an angle is necessary. The only bad reviews I came across before I ordered the gun was when someone couldn't figure out how to release the belt clip to change it to the other side, this is extremely easy to do and 10 seconds out of the package I had taken it off with ease and put back on, however it is a different style clip from the last Bostitch BT1855K brad nailer (7 years old) I was using due to it not having an allen wrench in the clip. Have been honestly trying to look for cons but cannot on this one, I can say it would be nice if it came with a 1/4 swivel air fitting, but I put one on it right away and its a cheap fix anyway. Love it and would/have recommend it!
