I put it in my erevo 2.0 with xt90 connector and noticed a huge difference in torque with stock motor. I noticed the motor runs much hotter. I wouldnt run it hard and long without a motor fan.

I put a 5200kv motor and waterproof 60A esc on my volcano epx all stock except motor and esc and it was so fast peopleshipping mouths would hit the floor but it started to break everything so I did the full hopup upgrade and now it's ridiculous how much fun it is to drive this truck.....I race people in the full size vehicle down the main highway in my town running 60 to 70 MPH....that's what my friend let out of his car at when racing my RC truck I highly recommend this

This thing says it’s waterproof, but if any water gets anywhere near the ports, They will cease to function until they dry. I’ve had one burn out on me because I was driving in the snow and although the snow was directly on the ESC, it leaked and shorted it. When it works, though, it’s the best ESC in my opinion. I wish it was a lot more reliable.

I don't know what to think of this. Purchased from a hobby shop for 300$ total. I installed it after soldering on traxxas connectors because I guess the company is too lazy to do it themselves, then made a series connector to run both 7 cell batteries in it. This was going in for my brushed motors on my emaxx. I got everything hooked up, plugged it in, and followed the instructions to calibrate it. It took me 8 tires before I could even get the thing to calibrate, and when I did, not only is the throttle reversed, but it also only goes like 50 percent throttle. I switched the throttle to reversed on my transmitter and it stayed reversed still. I switched the wired on the esc to try to change the polarity. Still nothing. Upon testing in my yard, it won't even lift the tires, or go over 20 mph. Don't know if im missing something or I just got a factory defect. But I would have much rather saved 100$ and bought 2 1/10 brushless systems made by anything but castle, and put dual in. At least it would have power then.
