Shine Control Matte Booster Face Primer & Serum, Skin-Mattifying Serum-to-Primer with Rice Protein, Absorbs Excess Oil & Keeps Skin Shine Free, 1.0 fl. oz

TLDR: So I have combo skin (OILY on my forehead), and mattefying products haven’t worked OTHER than this one! I use a drop with my sunscreen, and then another drop with my foundation. I barely have to dabble my face during the day, and it’s lasted a full 8 hours! Super lightweight and absolutely clear. Pros: - Good gel consistency, so one drop goes a long way! The consistency also helps with dealing with very watery formulas - Lightweight and sheer, no worries about smearing/coloring elsewhere/etc. - Mixes with other liquid products incredibly easily! - Ultimately effective and does exactly what it says it will, without causing any other acne or skin issues (no skin irritation at all, and I have VERY sensitive skin!) Cons: - Depending on how you feel about cosmetics, could seem overpriced. But again, 2 drops go a long way for oily skin, so up to you - Consistency makes the dropper a little weird to use. You have to pinch the top rubber part once or twice while the dropper is fully submerged in order to get product - Scales with weather. Will need about 3 drops in warmer days, 4 in summer (think NYC Manhattan summer heat)

I’ve had oily skin my whole life & this was a game changer when it came to controlling my shiny face after makeup was applied. Prior to this within 2 hours I’d have a shiny oily face & now I go all day with very minimal shine/oil coming through. My face doesn’t feel gross & greasy using this & it truly does help control the shine. I’ve tried many primers before this that claimed shine control, but none seem to work. 10/10 on this.

I tried this because I have the t-zone. I’m always looking for something to help out with my oily skin. It worked well but I still had some oiliness throughout the day. Not bad….it helped control the shine but not totally impressed.

This product did help with oil control, though since I have sensitive skin it did break me out occasionally.

I have tried multiple different primer and this one is by far the best in controlling my T-zone shine. It’s lightweight and quick to dry so I can almost apply my foundation right away.

I was hoping this product is what they replaced their rice protein complex shine control primer with, since they yanked the black tube of it off the market. That was the best stuff ever, why they did that is beyond me. Anyway, this serum is pretty much worthless for my needs. I need something that absorbs oil for hours, by itself and not underneath any makeup. I'm in martial arts and don't wear makeup to class but don't want an oily face. Had high hopes for this. The "matte" lasted maybe a half an hour, and then my face was even oiler than normal after the matte had run it's course. I have a whole bottle of it now and won't even use it again. So disappointed. Please bring back the black tube. It was the best on the market.

I have been buying this serum for months and I will keep buying it until they stop making it. I don't have time for makeup in the morning before work and this just does the trick for a presentable healthy looking skin. My skin is super sensitive and this product has never given me a rash or any other irritation. Will recommend to everyone 👍

Llegó a tiempo y en buenas condiciones El producto cumple con su funcion, realmente controla el brillo facial, es el primer producto que uso de esta categoría que realmente llena mis expectativas, el tono es claro pero se difumina muy fácilmente así que en pieles no tan blancas se adapta muy bien y no se nota

Este producto es muy bueno lo malo es que el proveedor se tarda demasiado tiempo en enviarlo. Ese es el único inconveniente.

Leider hat das Produkt die versprochene Wirkung nicht erbracht. Von shine control habe ich nichts gemerkt. Sowohl als primer als auch als Serum empfinde ich das Produkt unangenehm klebrig auf der Haut und nach kurzer Zeit glänzt das Gesicht stark. Für zu Unreinheiten neigende Haut nicht geeignet. Ich habe vermehrt Pickel bekommen nach der Anwendung. Sehr schade habe mir für den Preis mehr erhofft.

Este producto es buenísimo! No es solo para mujeres. Lo había comprado antes en EEUU y aquí en Mexico no lo podía conseguir. Con muy poquita aplicación casi todo el día se ve tu cara bien limpia porque no das “el charolazo”
