Finally a pair of headphones that do not split your eardrums at the lowest volume!
Finally a pair of headphones that do not split your eardrums at the lowest volume! Of course they will go as loud as you want. Good sound quality and design. I have tried a lot of different headphones, even ones that are a lot more expensive but these are clearly the best I have found so far.

Absolute garbage. Bafflingly quiet. Worst audio product I’ve ever used.
This is the first Amazon review I’ve ever written, and I’m only here because I’m genuinely stunned by how bad these headphones are. I bought these because iPhones don’t have an audio jack anymore and I wanted to avoid using a dongle. I assumed a reputable brand like Belkin could at least clear the absolute bare minimum bar for wired headphones. That assumption was wildly wrong. The volume is unusably quiet. Even at maximum volume, these earbuds are so absurdly low that you can’t hear music while walking outside. Traffic noise, wind, or even nearby conversations completely drown everything out. And no — this is not an isolation or hearing issue. I use plenty of other headphones daily and typically listen at around 60% volume with no problem. To put this in perspective: I recently took a flight and used the free airline earbuds with a borrowed dongle — and those were noticeably louder and more usable than these. That’s how bad this is. The cable is awful. The cord has a stiff, tacky texture that makes it impossible to run under a jacket. If you try, it constantly tugs the earbuds out of your ears. So you’re forced to wear it outside your jacket — except then it bounces against your clothes nonstop. Because the audio is so quiet, every single tap and rub of the cable becomes incredibly loud and distracting. The microphone is unusable. Calls are a joke. People can barely hear you, if at all. I’ve had multiple people ask if I’m underwater or covering the mic. For something advertised as having a built-in microphone, this is embarrassing. To be fair: the physical construction feels sturdy, and I do like the angled earbuds — they make it obvious which ear is which and they fit securely. Unfortunately, none of that matters when the core function of the product fails this badly. I am genuinely blown away by how terrible these are. This is the worst piece of audio equipment I have ever used, let alone purchased. I don’t understand how this product made it to market, and I definitely don’t understand the positive reviews. Avoid these entirely. Use a dongle. Buy literally anything else.

Switching to wired iPhone 16 pro
I don’t leave too many reviews, but I have to say these simple, inexpensive, wired headphones are at least a 4 and possibly a 5 star. I’ve been using AirPods and wireless Bluetooth headphones for a few years, but recently have been concerned about too much Bluetooth radiation. I’ve been looking for a good, regular, wired Earbud, however, with how active I am all of the cheaper ones keep disconnecting or cause the audio or video to stop. This is the first one that is not cheap, but still not crazy expensive, that is pretty stable, even when I’m out walking the dog or exercising. That being said, I still do carry my AirPods around in case I make or receive a call and they can’t hear me, but it’s usually because of weather or some other factor. It might not necessarily be the wired headphones. I’m buying a second pair in another color for my other office, thank you!

A worthy EarPod alternative for those seeking ambient noise reduction
In my initial assessment, I purchased these headphones as an alternative to the Apple EarPods. My primary motivation was the EarPods’ inability to effectively block ambient noise while walking on busy streets, necessitating excessive volume adjustment. It is important to clarify that I did not purchase these headphones for audiophile purposes. Instead, I intended them for casual listening, music podcasts, and similar activities. Upon testing, I found that these headphones deliver decent sound quality, for the most part are equal to EarPods. However, the cord, which is approximately the same length as the EarPods’ cord, has a unique lay-flat design. This design has a noticeable thicker cord and is heavier compared to the EarPods’ cord. While walking with the volume reduced, the cord is audible while moving around, not a significant issue though. Regarding call quality, these Belkin headphones provide good quality, which are comparable with EarPods, no issues. However, the design of the Belkin headphones, which effectively blocks external noise, may not be ideal for everyone, in my experience when talking with headphones on is like talking while having your fingers in your ears. Nevertheless, they suffice for incoming and outgoing calls when necessary. These headphones come with a unique audio volume limiter that is enabled by default. To disable, a long press of the volume button for four seconds is required. While my iPhone already has a headphone safety volume limiter, I believe this feature could be beneficial for devices lacking such features. Overall, while I still appreciate the quality of the Apple EarPods, these Belkin headphones meet my specific use-case requirements when ambient noise is high. Given that the EarPods retail for a similar price point, I consider them to be a worthwhile investment.

Not as good as I expected.
I want to like these, I want to love them honestly. But I can hear every movement of the cable. Every time it moves, hits my shirt or pulls at the earbuds themselves. Maybe I got a poorly insulated pair? Maybe they are all like this because its the flat style cable instead of round? The fit is perfect. Which makes me sad because nothing else has this shape now and the other ones I have don't fit very well. The silicone for the ear is snug onto the fitting. Which is another problem I had with a more expensive pair. The silicone came off in my ear. It was not my fault either, there is just so little there for the silicone to be on... Also needs a clip for the wire. I thought that was standard now but I guess not. Had it in my pocket and had no random disconnects like with my other pair (different brand) using a converter to usbc. Fit: Specteacular. Includes alt sizing silicone pieces. Build: Good Audio quality: Would be great if not for the feedback and sound of the cable moving around. Unboxing Experience: meh... 2 outa 10. Was like they dind't want me to get it out of the box Cable length: Kinda short...

Simply tangle-free, finally!
I like having wired headphones for backup when my wireless ones are dead or I can’t find them. However, the cord hassle drives me nuts pulling them tangled out of my purse. Seriously, I’m pissed when my phone is ringing and all I want is to pull my headphones out, plug, and talk. Enter the Belkin tangle-free headphones. Game changer! They come with three different silicone earpiece sizes (I have small ears so this was surprisingly a great feature!). I didn’t realize how much the proper earpiece size would improve the experience for me. On to the dirty details: the cord is flat, not round and sticky. So, it never gets tangled in a tight knot even when I’m pulling it out of the depths of my purse. This alone would’ve sold me on these headphones. Do they come out perfectly? No, but I stuffed them in there with no care and I can pull them out and straighten them for immediate use in less than 5 seconds. To make me love them even more, they are proper noise canceling headphones. I put them in chat away and take them out to find there’s loud construction going on outside. Couldn’t hear a thing with them in! The microphone quality is clutch as well. I’ve had numerous people ask me on calls what Headset I’m using because the sound quality is so good. They’ve become my go to for work calls. Another feature I really like over any of the wireless headsets I have is the volume controls on the cable. I find I forget the buttons on my wireless ones or the buttons aren’t easy to press when I’m wearing them which is annoying. The control feature on the Belkin is perfect - I can easily change the volume and there’s tactile raised bumps so I know where to press. It also lets me mute, hang up the call, or go to the next song. It’s a feature I didn’t think I’d care about and didn’t weigh into my purchase decision until I got them and it simply works perfectly and easily. Going forward, any wired headset will have to have the control feature and it’ll be hard to top the Belkin execution.
