Super fun to do and was a perfect gift for my parents!

Just getting started so I don’t know how it’s going to turn out, but the kit has everything I need to make a successful carving. So I have the patience, and determination remains to be seen.

Great kit, the knife is beefy and sharp, sharpened well and edge retention is ok. Great for beginners. The 1x1x4 basswood is good quality. Not a lot of wood to remove.

My son absolutely loved this. He is 10 years old and loves wood working. The instructions were easy to follow and he was very proud of his work. the wood was soft and easily carved. As a mom, I really appreciated the guide showing how to protect his fingers!
