Review: A high-quality, good-looking desk used for an unusual task! - Bought this to use as a kind-of subtle roll-around side desk to hold the interview notes for a podcast host as he sits in a chair opposite the guest for our company's video podcast. The host adjusted the height and angle of the desktop to suit his needs and he is quite happy with it. Whenever it appears on camera, it looks quite nice. It came well packaged and was quick and easy to assemble. Once constructed, the desk was sturdy, easy to adjust and the wheel brakes locked securely with a quick release mechanism operated by the toe of a shoe. The quality appears to exceed the price and the dark wood surface is both appealing and tough. This desk has already appeared in 15 episodes of our podcasts and looks set to appear in many more. An excellent purchase. Highly recommended!
Review: best. - i bought this years ago and i’m here to write a review now because i cannot live without this thing. its my perfect nightstand that lets me have my laptop by my bed for nighttime podcasts since i dont have tv in my room. ive also used it as a standing desk for work and painting and it rolls around so nicely. LOVE the little hooks hidden under it to manage cables and they keep wires from being caught on the wheels. also, the wheels lock with a clip if you don’t want it to roll around. to store it, it’s very easy to tilt the plates vertically and push it all the way down to tuck behind a wall or dresser. or when moving it, its extremely easy to take apart into two pieces to transport. so very portable! 10000/10 bedroom staple for me. if mine ever breaks, i will get this exact one again

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this be good enough for using only a keyboard and mouse on it? I have a computer screen at a distance and want to use this with a chair.**
A: Adding this for others that might be wondering the same... it's actually a little too narrow for a full size keyboard & mouse. I can almost make it work, but the keyboard has to hang over one edge a bit and my mousepad, turned to "portrait" orientation, still ends up hanging over the other by at least 1/2 inch.  If you're using a compact keyboard, like a TKL (TenKeyLess) or smaller, you should have enough space to comfortably be able to use the mouse. I'll probably end up making a replacement top rather than go through the Hassel of disassembling and returning it, but unless you're willing to tinker, you'd be better off paying a bit more for something wide enough to start with that's hopefully also a little better quality.

**Q: Need to fit under couch.  How high is the wheels to the bar they are attached to?**
A: Fit under the couch, wheels are about 2.5in, I love it

**Q: What is the height from the floor to the top surface when flat & at the lowest height possible?**
A: As I see it, the lowest possible position is 21" w/ no casters.  Casters add 1.5"

**Q: can you turn the top table left or right if it doesn't fit under the chair or bed?**
A: Yes you can do that but if you will turn upper desk left and wheels will be direct right it's gonna loose balance.

Bought this to use as a kind-of subtle roll-around side desk to hold the interview notes for a podcast host as he sits in a chair opposite the guest for our company's video podcast. The host adjusted the height and angle of the desktop to suit his needs and he is quite happy with it. Whenever it appears on camera, it looks quite nice. It came well packaged and was quick and easy to assemble. Once constructed, the desk was sturdy, easy to adjust and the wheel brakes locked securely with a quick release mechanism operated by the toe of a shoe. Works well as a reading stand with multiple hts. But wheel attachments are flimsy and wheels come off so not a good mobile stand. With a stronger base would excellent.
