ESV Study Bible, Large Print (Hardcover): English Standard Version

Today my long awaited concise bible arrived and il so very happy with. Like very much, so full and worth my spending on it.Many many thanks.

Although I'd read the Bible before, the level of insight you gain from the commentary in this Study Bible is amazing - I'm learning new things every time I use it.I especially like how the commentary gives links to other relevant passages of the Bible, which really helps with understanding things, especially from a historical point of view.I've only gone through Deuteronomy, Joshua and Judges on an in-depth study level so far, but I've used this Bible to look up other verses I'd had questions about, and there doesn't seem to be any denominational bias - it just exegesises the text itself, which is always good.The only thing I would do differently if I was to buy one again ( and this is NOT a negative of this Bible itself, but rather a personal preference) is that I would buy a leather bound one to fit in better with my other Bibles. The hardcover is good, it's just an aesthetic matter.

Good large font size, many helpful notes and explanations.

Difficult to understand - more suited to scholars studying for higher degrees and PhD courses.Will look for something that fitsy needs.
