Bought this for my husband. Did not know that I was going to have to shave him when he was in the hospital. It works really well and the quality if there. He loves it and I really liked using it when I had to.

If the cut is perfect and detailed

Shaver works as advertised. Noticed it doesn’t get the cleanest shave. However this is very convenient and the cleaner adds to that. Not sure if the newer models are any better at cleaning and shaving but this works great if you have enough counter space in the bathroom.

Been using for about 3 months now I upgraded from a braun series 1 single foil shaver that I had for years (7+). I was worried about the massive head on this unit causing it to feel bulky. However I personally found the head to feel very comfortable and glides across the face smoothly. Compared to my older single foil, I don't have to worry as much if I miss a day of shaving. This shaver really does get the longer hairs. My older unit was great at getting stubble, but anything to long and you have to finish with a razor to get those, or I have to use a razor entirely. This new shaver fixes all of that, i can miss a day or 2 and this still cleans me up very nicely. Still not great on neck hairs but that's all shavers to me. It doesn't feel to bulky on the face, and the upper foil still gets the upper lip area really well. The self cleaning system works very well to. I was kinda skeptic on if I really cared for it, but worth the extra money.

It’s a decent shaver but I’d strongly suggest spending the extra money and getting a more expensive model. The biggest issue is that sometimes the shaver just pops off while I’m shaving my face which is quite annoying. Sometimes more than once per shave. This is because it is detachable so that another attachment can be popped on and it just comes off too easily. It does shave my face fairly smoothly but I sometimes have to go over the same area multiple times to get it fully clean. That being said, I can’t express how much I love not ever cutting my face or having razor burn. It’s hard to shave crisp clean lines with the shaver but that’s what the clipper attachment is for, which cuts through hair like butter. The battery life is quite good and the docking station makes charging and cleaning it very easy, you just pop it in and it does all the work. Buy a pack of replacement cleaning fluid cartridges for the docking station and just keep them on hand and you’re good to go. Again, my only regret is not spending the extra money for a higher end model.

This is a great electric razor at a good price compared with the $2-300.dollar razors,I’ve been using a manscaped razor for a year that takes as long as shaving with a hand razor and was noisy and impossible to get a close shave with. I hesitated to buy a single foil blade razor but the reviews were good so i ordered it it’s a close shave that lasts all day unlike my other razor that i had to shave twice a day with.;it’s worth every penny

I've used Braun products for almost 20 years. My current razor is a 19-year-old Braun 7680. The battery is dying so I replaced it with this. It still gives a closer shave than the new unit. You'd think after 20 years there would be some improvement or it would work as well as an old product. I’m also upset that there is no email address available for Braun or parent company Procter & Gamble to send a complaint. Here’s pretty much what I wanted to send them in an email: This may be my last Braun product partly due to the abysmal user manual. It's in three languages yet the majority of the 'instructions' are in hieroglyphics! I spent nearly an hour in three chat sessions to figure things out. Evidently these manuals are unintelligible to support staff as well as customers. A simple sentence in writing would have answered these questions that are NOT answered by their little pictures: * How long should I keep the razor plugged in before its first use? Your support person told me overnight but on a later chat said that as soon as I saw 4 lights on the razor it would be done, even though that was after just one hour. When I told him it had 3 lights lit, he told me that meant it was 3/4 charged and to wait for the fourth light. I went to check and the razor only has THREE lights! * He told me the light on the charging unit would go from flashing red to being blue when fully charged. So I had to contact him again when, after about an hour, the light was NOT red, NOT blue and NOT even on. Completely dark. He never did tell me what that means. * What do bubbles with the 'no' symbol over them mean? He told me something so involved I couldn't even remember it. I don't know if they think they're saving money buy not hiring writers for their user information, but writers get paid for a reason - they can communicate succinctly. Unlike your pictures which neither this user nor your support staff could interpret. This plus not working as well as a 19-year-old razor, is the end of the line for me and Braun.

Another gift he loved and got bored with. The guitar was nice had good tune but he has ADHD and like the piano they are under his bed

I almost never write reviews, but after using this product for a few months, I have to. This was the best purchase I have made in a while. I have sensitive skin and when I use razors I am left with ingrown hairs and rashes even if I shave along the grain (basically leaving a 5 o clock shadow). However, this thing gives me a completely clean shave as if I shaved against the grain with a razor, and without any of the downsides! It works really well dry and with shaving cream. Cleaning is very easy. Highly recommend.

Bought this item from the Australian site yet it arrived from the US with an American plug, so basically useless until I get an adapter... terrible service extremely unhappy

I've been using a blade for ages and used to have one of these back in the 90s. The 6 series seemed like a better than average model so I chose this. I remembered the cleaning station and it always worked well which this one does, with added fill detection and flashy light. It cleans faster than the old one, under 5 minutes. There is the cost of the refills but there are alternatives. The razor has 2 speeds, charges fast and a charge lasts a few shaves but it charges while in the cleaner so it keeps up on its own. Indicators for battery, clean, turbo, head replacement and button lock. It does give a good close shave but I find a blade to be closer. For a daily shave this one does just fine. The price is good considering the clean station and a cartridge comes with it. Luckily the box did not contain any venomous spiders so no worries there. That alone sold me on it.
