This is an amazing product. I have dry thin hair but my scalp always gets super oily. A little goes a long way with this product. Love how clean my scalp feels after using it, leaves my hair super soft and moisturized. Once I tried this I haven’t gone back on using anything else. I love the leave in conditioner as well. Doesn’t leave my hair oily, but moisturized And shiny for days. After using the product I have gotten so much compliments on how healthy my hair looks.

I love this product - Carol's Daughter Goddess Strength Ultra Shield Pre Poo Hair Treatment. How I use this product is as follows: I dampen my hair with lukewarm water in the shower. Next, I apply about two squeezes of this product onto the top and back of my head, brushing through with a detangling brush and making sure this evenly applies. Next, I leave it in for a few minutes until I am read to rinse. I use Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Shampoo Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil - excellent shampoo if you need a recommendation! I also apply two squeezes of the shampoo and then brush through again with my detangling brush, lather, and finally rinse. This routine not only minimizes hair loss for me, but keeps my hair drying in a less frizzy way - if I air dry. This product is very easy to spread through my hair. It is not too thick but not runny either. I would also not consider it "greasy," as I've never had my hair feel greasy after rinsing it out with my conditioning shampoo. This product is highly effective when it comes to moisturizing, almost shockingly, because there was one shower I did not use this pre-wash conditioner and my hair dried very frizzy and was unmanageable. This keeps my hair feeling softer, less frizzy (but I still recommend a leave-in conditioner if your hair is highly porous like mine - does not retain moisture). I would say you get a great value for your money because if you use this two or three times a week, the bottle will last you at least a month. I would highly recommend this product. It's great for detangling and making your hair feel smoother.

This product has helped my hair a lot. My hair had been severely damaged by hard water, a blow-dry hair style I had more than ten years ago and it never recoveed from, and brush damage from having velcro textured-frizzy-semi-wavy-fine-thick hair The first time I used it, I truly realized just how dry my hair was. I felt my hair suck in the moisture and dry to a waxy texture in mili-seconds. After many more uses, my hair doesn't dry to a waxy texture, instead it feels like someone ran water over it and dampened my hair. My hair has become softer, feels fuller, looks shinier, is staying clean longer, has its more defined waves returning from before the blow-dry style that damaged them; and when paired with a brush meant for curly and wavy hair, my hair doesn't rip/shred. The "separating of velcro" noise my hair produces when being brushed is completely gone when I use this product.

Good for you hair

I didn't read the reviews, especially the critical ones because her other products my hair response well to them. I didn't do the pre-poo on unwashed hair like the directions state. I used my clarifying shampoo before the Carol's prepoo. Now the prepoo pulled all the knots out of my hair that my clarifying shampoo created. My doesn't feel dry and I didn't notice any bad odor from the product either. With that said, every product isn't for ever hair texture. So if the product say for all types it not true. All hair products say that on their products doesn't make it true. You have to pick which ones work and which ones don't. I can't use certainn Carol's Daughter products that has coconut oil or shea butter because it dries my hair out. I love the products that I carefully picked that would keep my hair moisturize.

I cannot say enough good things about this shampoo/conditioner. Excellent. Excellent. If you have bleached your hair - this shampoo/conditioner ACTUALLY softens/moisturizes your hair. Truly amazing. Highly recommend it!
