Wonderful for organizing without opening binder rings all the time
I have 3 different kinds of pocket dividers, including these. I find this type outstanding because the pocket holds a lot of papers;the poly material is NOT slick and shiny and sticky, its smoothness allows the paper to be inserted quickly without sticking; the holes are larger than my other poly pocket dividers; and the pocket is separated from the hole so the paper cannot slip into the part with the hole.I bought a set of the Cardinal Expanding Pocket Poly Divider, 8-Tab, Multi-Color (84013), 3-hole punched to go in the Case-it 2-Inch Ring ZIPPERED Binder with HANDLE AND SHOULDER STRAP. Each of the pockets holds up to 100 sheets of papers. I don't like opening binder rings frequently so I ordered these pockets.I also have many projects and wanted to keep my current papers in one place that I can carry around to different places in the house, meetings or the library, etc.The pockets keep my projects separated and at hand without having to file the papers or punch holes in them; I can also use different size pieces of papers in the pockets. The zippered binder keeps them from falling out.The combination functions as a portable file for current papers.

Works fantastic
This is one of the best office products I have found. Will order more. The only expanding divider I have found that holds 50 pages and does not cover up the tabs. Perfect for school and work folders where you need to keep track of handouts, brochures, etc. I'm even making a folder with my taxes from each year so I can just put in the receipts too and tab them. Durable, but not so thick it overwhelms the space.

For me they are worth giving a try.
I'm using the folders for my monthly bills and to keep them in for the year to help see how spending is for the year and for taxes. My goal is to try and get rid of the big filing cabinet. I can see how others had said that they are not very sturdy or durable and tear easy. If I am not careful I can see these ripping easily as time goes on. Some of the holes punched in are really close to the edge. Putting the papers in, it is definitely a tight squeeze, but tolerable. Overall I am still going to keep them to give my organization idea a try. I do like the extra room the expandable pocket gives for the bigger bills that have multiple pages.

Serves its purpose with style.
After being in a motorcycle accident where I needed to collect a wide variety of information, from medical bills, disability information, insurance (both health and vehicle), etc. I knew basic dividers wouldn't work. I also needed something that could hold CDs with X-Ray information as well as document after document, from the accident report, to medical bills, as well as medical documentation. These folders/dividers have helped me keep everything organized, so much so that even my lawyer was impressed. Granted, I have 2 excel documents to accompany it, and another divided file organizer for receipts, but this was a key part of the organization process. This would be perfect for students, professionals working on a project that has many moving parts, or even in the home to track annual bills for filing at the end of the year.

I liked the deep pockets that hold tons of papers and ...
I just bought a third set of these for my daughter, after having used the first two sets I bought to create tax organization binders for myself and my mom. I liked the deep pockets that hold tons of papers and thought they would be suitable for my daughter to use in her big zippered binder this school year. She won't open the rings in her binder and file the pages inside the rings, but she WILL consistently place papers in the pockets, so we're embracing that and going with deeper pockets for her binder this year. These will be perfect for her needs!

Perfect for what I needed
Perfect for what I needed. Note that these are inserted into a THREE-RING BINDER. They are not like an expandable folder held together by some bind. They are individual EXPANDING folders. Each color will expand to its own size that can accommodate what you are needing to use it for. These weren't what I was looking for to start off with but I am really impressed and satisfied that I decided to go with these. It makes organization a lot easier and I can still keep it all in one binder. (Great for college or other means when using binders for organization).

Nice expanding size, the holes should be reinforced!
The size is just what my son needed for his classwork. He had the regular size before (non-expanding) and it simply wasn't large enough to accommodate all his classwork for a semester. This really helped him stay organized much better than the non-expanding.However after only one month of use the holes are tearing, they really should be reinforced since these are being used by students who are hard on their stuff. I took pictures will try to upload, but seriously I purchased these on May 18 and my son's last day of school was June 11th and well, the pictures say it all.If you have a child that is gentle on their stuff these should work great. I have re-ordered with the plan of using duct tape on the holes and side for reinforcement before putting to use and hoping that they last at least ONE semester. I will try to report back.

Super for Recipes and other items to organize.
Using these to organize my little snippets and magazine copies of recipes from the last 30 years. Really nice quality. Fit well into a binder. Expands like crazy, or holds materials tight, depending on how much you put in. I am extremely satisfied, and these exceeded my expectations. My one tiny tiny observation is that where you put the white tabs in the plastic material is too dark to read the tab. So I just taped the white tab (noting: eggs, appetizer, dessert, etc) to the outside of the tab-holder. No problem. Works great.
