I was floored by how well these worked considering their price and my first impression. When you take these out of the box, you will notice they feel flimsy, made of a flexible material. I expected little support or protection from the elements- but they were a piece for a LARP costume and fit the bill.Well on day 2 of sudo-medieval life it poured. I laced up these bad boys and slogged through the mud for hours and they held up perfectly. The material seems tougher than it looks, and the strings that secure it are well place to keep your ankle supported. I have used them both with additional support tape to lock my ankle up and without, and neither time experienced any discomfort. I don't think I would want to wear them as a normal shoe, but for my needs they performed admirably.

This is somewhat the same as the "renaissance loafer" except taller and $10 more. however, the fit and the fittings are the same. I ordered the 12/13. I wear a 12 1/2 - 13 C. So this fit somewhat loosely on my. however, i put in some Dr Scholls Work Relief inserts and the fit is snug but comfortable. They are quite pricey in my opinion, part of the loss of a star. understanding how to tie them was the most difficult.they are very light. for some reason, when looking at the picture as i ordered them, i though i was getting some type of combat type boot. nothing further. These are lightweight, man-made uppers/soles that are thin and glued together. i expect they will last a few days at least, Even though i would only use them for parties, CosPlay and Ren Fairs.I'll write more if i find them to be better or worse than i've described.

A lil less quality than what I expected for the price....but they do fine. As far as looks.....I do like the look....goes well with my Knights Templar outfit

Boots were comfortable and looked great

Boots are alright but the size 14 are about a size 11. Wasted my money completely by misrepresenting the size of the product. They sell is as a numbered size but the box lists the size as XL. Do not buy if you have big feet.

Well they broke on 2 hours ! The heel collapsed... not good we were at an event where we were Kong an queen!!! Uuugh so not kool...

Light and nimble are the best way to describe these boots. Will your feet tire after a long day at the fair? Yes, but guess what any boot is going to do that. The best part is that they are light and even after your feet get tired your still not lugging around the pounds to make it worse! The simple design is great too!

Not terrible, not great. Add some leather laces and some insoles, and they make ok costume boots. Wouldn't hold up to anything off-pavement, for sure. But, not bad for the low price.
