Brent Weeks 5 Books Collection Set (The Black Prism, The Blinding Knife, The Broken Eye, The Blood Mirror, The Burning White)

Have a read a better 5 book fantasy series? No. Did Weeks mess around and create a masterpiece? Yes. Book 1 was good, but not something to tell your grand kids about. I almost gave up on the series after that. So glad I didn't. I opened book 2 because I was bored and oh boy was that a good idea. I was shocked at how deep the world suddenly got and how horribly wrong I was about thinking the world was predictable. Everything I had so confidently predicted was wrong and books 3 and 4 disappeared through my tired retinas and into my brain before I even knew what happened. I was half way through through book 5 before I realized I was binging something so great that it probably should have been savored. Weeks went all out in book 5 and answered every question had in addition to the ones I didn't even know I was supposed to be asking. Up there with WoT and Stormlight with my favorite fantasy series to date.

It was just what I needed for a friend and all in one order. Good bang for buck!

Good quality and all five books came with the pictured cover art. Other reviews made me concerned that I would not receive the desired cover art but I did and am very happy with it.

Bought as a gift for someone so I could get my copies back. Came tightly shrink wrapped together to prevent any damage. A+

Packager needs to be a bit more careful almost ripped my books but othe then that it was great

Fabulous fantasy series

My son had read the first books ok and wanted the cover art to match. I bought this box set thinking we would gift book one but it arrived smaller and with a different cover art version. Not sure how to tell what you are getting. Fulfillment matters.

So I wish I would have seen the comments. It seems this is a very inconsistent buy. The first book was glossy and looked like the original meanwhile all the rest were bad quality of paper, potentially printed on demand which is terrible. At least the covers are all like in the picture. Also the order could have been in a better package since the first 2 books have bumps on the side.

Brought this as a Christmas present for my brother. Amazing value for money seems as you get the whole series. Evening order, came very fast.
